I hadn't seen that particular video before. I'm sure with today's technology, someone could make a modern air rifle with greater capabilities. Maybe they do, and I just don't know about it.

I like the .30 cal in the first one, but it's only a single shot. I'll have to check 'em out a little further. I've got a XISICO .22 cal that's a single break action, it hits similar to a .22 short or long. Thanks for the info.

Question: With the new upswing in pcp air guns, will the ATF need a new name ?
Some of these ‘guns’ are as powerful as firearms.!
Ever hear of the Girardoni air gun?
An Italian by that name invented this bad boy back in the 1770s.
The Austrian army issued these to their troops.
Lewis and Clark took one these "wind rifles" on their expedition.
The Indians were awestruck. A cloudless rifle that does not thunder.

The Girardoni wind rifle was 4 ft long, weighed 10 pounds, fired, or should I say blew, a .51 caliber ball, and had a tubular, spring-fed magazine with a capacity of 20 balls.

This was a repeater, after one shot was fired, the shooter pulled a t***sverse bar out of the breach and the next ball fell into place, similar to operating a bolt action, and with one detachable compressed air tank, the shooter could empty the 20 ball mag. Although the power declined a bit as the pressure in the air tank decreased.

At 100 yards, the Giradoni wind rifle could drive the .51 Cal ball through a one inch pine board.

And the crazy people seem to be l*****t Democrats for the most part. Just look at the violent protesters at Supreme Court justices homes.

The democrat leftests make up 99% of gun violence and are responsible for 99% of domestic terrorism! Just the facts!

I absolutely agree. Gun violence is a HUGE problem in America today. What we do NOT agree on is the cause and the solution. The cause is too many bad guys and the solution is eliminate them from our society.
Armed citizens, looking at the bigger picture, are necessary to protecting our individual freedoms from our biggest threat. Government.

What part of " shall not be infringed is so hard for brain dead liberals to understand! They truly are as stupid as their hero and leader Obiden!

It isn't a case of being brain dead, it is a case of 'the ends justify the means' with those people. They fully understand the 2ndA, but are willing, even eager, to deliberately misconstrue the Constitution to get what they want. What worries me is the ultimate motivation. What is it? Are these people so ignorant of facts and t***h that they really believe making guns illegal will end crime and murder and mass murder???? If so, that is where your term 'brain dead' is definitely applicable. Or is it more sinister? Is this a long term l*****t/DNC plot to eliminate weapons from the hands of citizens so that they can initiate an authoritarian utopia more easily? THAT question is what keeps me awake at night.

Of course it is a long term l*****t plan for exactly the reason you state.

LOL: I read once the if the l*****ts interpreted the Second Amendment the way do the rest of them, everyone would be required to own a gun.

That needs to be changed now since the First Amendment and free speech are under attack.

The problem with all these brain-dead people is that they lack a conscience, they lack understanding, they lack any concern with right and wrong, but ALL their limited intelligence is dev**ed to being manipulative, sneaky, and conniving. They are very good at lying and covering their rears, most of the time. And of course, as I am prone to repeating, with them, the end ALWAYS justifies the means.
