Many of us kept up closely with a major happy event for one of NPP and SWMBO's young men. He has lived through great horror and come out on the othe side.

NPP had the art work of the attendants for the wedding sent to me to photograph and post. The art work is somewhat dispersed. I felt it would be fun to have it all on one forum.

I am going to post individual photos with, hopefully, fun descriptions.

We all wish the newly weds as much fun and adventure in their marriage as the attendants for their nuptials!

To make sure the new bride was well armed for discipline, a cast iron frying pan was gifted by one of the flower girls.

I am sure they will appreciate that. When the plans started there were going to be about twenty people, but through friends and other survivors it ended being somewhere around 175 people, great outdoor wedding, all food donated by friends. For us it was a chance to see some of "our boys" again and meet their families. One of them lives not too far from the people we stayed with while being with my brother at the end, and he came to the wedding and brought a couple of pieces of furniture from my brother's house. It is amazing what God's love can do to heal and bring people together. Thanks to AuntiE you got to share the pictures that the friend from whom we are getting another dog painted. She did one for BTFKR just for fun, maybe he will put it up as an avatar. The ushers were a standard poodle, a Cane Corso that was not ours, a rough collie, an Airedale and the little one is a Welsh Terrier from the woman who did the artwork. All are certified therapy dogs with many different rally and obedience titles also. Both Airedale and Welsh are AKC conformation champions as is the other Corso. It is neat to have all around titled purebred dogs to help people realize what they can do with their dogs. One of our boys trains search and rescue and cadaver dogs. He was there . MaryBeth saw him at a seminar recently where he was speaking about search and rescue training, but it had been a while for me.
Thank you all for being a part of the festivities, and being a great part of our family.
God Bless You All
Mike and MaryBeth

several people who couldn't find the thread have inquired about it. I thought that if I commented on it again, they might find it.

I see BTFKR used the picture that Diane did for him as his avatar. I will have to tell he that, she will be pleased.

SWMBO yes I always sign my comments, so nobody gets confused.

How Fun! I'm happy I finally found the pictures. They are great! We do love the one of our "children" that Diane was kind enough to offer to do. One of my hobbies is wood work, and I particularly like to build picture frames, so I will build one when the weather is good for shop work.

What a grand time the wedding was. Thanks for sharing.

My favorite is the close up of Zeus with the flowers. He really is that intimidating until you get to know him, and find out he is just one big lap dog.

That is a good one. I love dogs. Most are not intimidating to me anyway, unless they have been trained to be. We've taken some in that have obviously been abused. They never get over it but are the most loving friends.
