2 Questions: 1) Term Limits for All Government Officials from President Down.. Should we? If so, How many years for the senate and congress.. 2) Should congress and the senate's raises be on the v****g b****t, so we the people can V**e on it? My Choice Most Definitely YES on Both!

Yes for term limits, and maybe even for the Supreme Court Justices.
Maximum of three terms in the House. Restore the 17th Amendment to let state legislatures select Senators or Two terms maximum.

1) To run for President one has to be a natural-born citizen and at least 35 years of age. Why not make this the same requirement to be eligible to v**e for President?
Senators must be 30. Make it 30 years old to be able to v**e.
Congresspersons must be at least 25 and only have to be a resident of the state, not the district they represent. Make the minimum age to v**e for Representatives 25.

2) The Congress should have to live by the same rules as the rest of us, no exceptions, no elitism, no insider-trading, pay-raises tied to the Consumer Price Index just like Social Security. and no retirement to discourage people from becoming professional lifetime politicians such as Biden, or Schumer, neither of which has ever done anything in the private sector. Put them on Medicare for health benefits, and Social Security withholdings from their pay going toward their retirement.

What is that you say? This discourages the best from public service That ship has sailed. Most politicians and more interested in being re-elected and having power than they are about serving the American people. (Some people think we could elect better Representatives through a lottery system.)

We have term limits for the dipsticks in Congress. They're called e******ns. The fault does not lie so much with the crooked politicians as with the v**ers who re-elect incumbent Senators at an average rate of 97%, and Representatives at a rate of over 80%, and then b***h about term limits. The Federal Judiciary, whose members are nominated by the president and confirmed by whomever controls the Senate, are lifetime political appointees with incredible power. This needs to stop. Term limits there, including the SCOTUS, would de-politicize the Court. I would say one six year term for the Federal Judiciary, including the SCOTUS.
I think all elected officials in DC should live in dorm type housing with a cafeteria for meals. They should get a t***sportation and clothing allowance and make minimum wage. That might just separate the public servants from the weasels that service the public. (In case you wonder about the difference between "serve" and "service;" a shepherd serves his flock. a ram services a ewe when she's in season.)
Politicians need to be reminded frequently that they work for us, not the other way around. The best way to do this is to limit their lifestyle while they are in office and v**e them out after two terms.

I am generally in favor of term limits.

However, we need to consider some 'unintended consequences'. I would be concerned that term limits would strengthen the power of bureaucrats.

With today's technology, I would like to see Congresspersons and Senators remain in their own district year-round and do their v****g through something like zoom (for Congress only) and C-SPAN. This way they would not be in the swamp and available as a large group to lobbyists. Keep them close to home and accountable to their constituents. Keep an eye on your friends and a closer eye on your enemies.

Exactly! 100% agree.. So how do ya feel about their "Raises" being on the B****t, for every e******n, which is every 2 years.. Seems we are, due to 24/7 media, in a perpetual e******n season.. Quite frankly, I think EVERYONE in Congress & The Senate, have their Pay frozen til they start getting S**te Done! But I know, given the completely partisan Legislative branch, that would screw over the minority!... But it's a nice pipe dream!.. but it would be b***hin if WE The People could grant their EMPLOYEES...The Entire Gov't!~ President On down to NON elected officials!! a Raise & Not have it arbitrarily taken!!

I like tying their raises to the CPI so they can see how f**e these stats are. Like right now with the price of gas. Oh, that's right, they all have government cars and drivers or they own lexus' so they aren't affected.

And This my friend is the Problem.. They on the left wanting all this BS have Never had to live and work a real job.. except as much as I h**e to admit it, AOC was a bartender, I think she should go back to that.. and Live under today's economy!.. I really don't feel she'd be as hot for this green new deal BS!.. I could name her other profession but I am tryin to keep it clean and civil.. Hell even Ilhan Omar is tryin to keep us from buying oil from the Saudi's albeit for a different reason.. I agree with her, we should NOT be getting our oil from our enemies when we have plenty of oil, natural gas, shale etc in our own country..

I Just don't feel that the powers that be, should be throwing the baby out with the bath water.. OK.. cool.. Let's pursue alternative energy sources Cool! I'm all for that, However I think it's foolhardy to get rid of oil and gas until you have another WORKING infrastructure! Call me crazy but the wind mills in Texas didn't help for s**te!.. they froze up.. and the other thing that i don't believe for one minute is that these i***ts that be, have NOT thought about the WASTE that comes with massive solar farms! Or Nuclear for that matter! It would seem we'd have a serious waste disposal issue in this country!...and O yea by the way.. What exactly is the energy that these so called "charging stations" are gonna be charging themselves with????

This administration is an Absolute disgrace!!.. I sincerely believe the reason that Biden doesn't want Ukraine to have planes is because Ukraine & Zelenski have enough evidence of at the very least conflict of interest in Ukraine's energy company, and the Money that H****r got from the fmr Russian mayor's Wife giving the Biden Crime family $3.5 Million, H****r's $83K a MONTH for doing a gig he knew ZERO about!.. I call Bulls**t on that as well.. So, it would be in Biden's Best interest, (so he thinks) for Ukraine to actually Fall, because of the documentation showing wrong doing by the Biden's... Little does he know, that Russia has got it in for him, Obama, Clinton and a few others sanction wise.. He has Intel that we don't know about, as far as the public, and he may have intel on our admin that has not yet been Leaked!

Personally, while I do feel for Ukraine, I hope they beat the bear!!

I think some of this money that the I***t libs are tossing out there indiscriminately, should go towards OUR OWN COUNTRY! OUR Borders! OUR infrastructure!.. Ya know the old saying, you can't help others til you can fix/help yourself.. Frankly, I am tired of being the Big Brother/Police of the world!!.. I think we need to start showing some strength!.. I think Biden is seriously lacking in the strength dept.. I think he has made this country a laughing stock since He told Putin, short of putting a Bow on it, that we have 16 sites we don't want attacked.. I Heard him say it! He may as well have invited Russia & China to invade those said sites.. He's been rebuffed on EVERY call to the Middle east.. they won't even take his calls..In this country; in my life time, I never thought this would happen.. I guess I've been lying to myself.. everyone wants to blame Obama for gutting our military, but I have a news flash.. it was Bill Clinton that started closing bases.. and it was Bill Clinton that closed Mirimar where they Used to train top gun pilots but guess what.. Top Gun moved Here to my little town of Fallon..and given the Middle east wars we've been fighting, it seems it was a logical move, given that the NAS here in Fallon Now trains top gun pilots and in fact have a number of small businesses dedicated to the "Top Gun" Logo if you will.. and what better place to do night time desert sortees but in the very atmosphere that our guys over seas have to deal with!!

Frankly, I'm not sure I care about how they use the Metrics of the CPI to gauge what their raises should be, frankly I think they don't NEED a raise given what they are making from US.. We The People! & Insider trading!.. They Damn sure don't need the "golden parachute"... I have always felt that they should live as we do, and under the same laws they pass!.. I am soo freakin tired of this do as I say not as I do mentality!.. UGH.. Laws for thee but not for me Bulls**te!!.. Ugh!..

I do think they should meet, in-person, three times a year.

Just a few links on what is involved with massive solar farms regarding waste!.. It's NOT Pretty, and this is where the 4 P's come in.. Piss Poor Prior Planning!! Liberals want all this but aren't, it would seem into doing the due diligence on what the actual cost will be!
