I only saw the positive aspects of the internet, how efficiently it can be used to get a job done. Larai defined so many of the negatives but it’s clear there is so much more.
Whenever a new technology is introduced, I marvel at the great capabilities it has and the positive contributions it will make to all mankind and rarely give a thought to how a technology in the hands of the evil and wicked can be used for nefarious deeds.
As I grow older, I take my wife more seriously and have become a much better listener and much more fearful of how a new technology in the hands of an enemy can be used for evil.
This is why one must take a hard look at any new technology being sold on its merits.
The next new technology that will be sold on its merits will be chip implants and those who stand to profit will sell them to an unsuspecting small percentage of the population. Over time it will appear by many more to have great benefit and be widely accepted. Eventually, it will be considered so beneficial, it will be mandated by the government. Then it will be used for powerful people, the government, hackers for nefarious purposes.
Technology can be a blessing or a curse!
