Thought for the day!~I remember when the internet was new.. some were afraid of it, because they didn't understand how to work it.. As the years go by.. and we learn more about maneuvering around the net, we discover that it's still a very scary place.. because now, the left and their bulls**te woke'ism.. cancel culture crapola! People are self censoring, afraid to post what they normally would because it can be misconstrued to something you don't even recognize from your original post and as we have seen, through various news media, the internet is FOREVER! Things you posted when the internet was new, are coming back to bite ya in the a$$!!.. Be you a celebrity or a normal person!.. Who ever you may have offended & got all Butt Hurt, can now dox you!!, as in post your address, where your kids go to school..your job..and they CAN and DO get you fired from said job, Unless of course your boss knows you better!

So I guess the bottom line is that the Internet is Still a VERY Scary place! Constantly on guard for hackers v***ses, malware, Bitware Ransomeware!!
Having been hacked twice, first time in June of 2014 and this last one in Nov 2021.. I've been a LOT more circumspect about what I post.. Because NOW.. Big Brother REALLY is Watching!..This country, since c***d, if not before, has become a surveillance state! A Police state, with the all the alphabet agencies working for what seems to be the left side!.. I have always tended to be an equal opportunity offender when it comes to bashing both sides of the isle when it's due!.
Our Gov't really does need some new blood! They need to have round up smeared on their root bound asses!.. Our founders Never meant for life time politicians, they meant for a shorter term then go home and pick up your jobs your businesses etc, til the next session, NOT making money off the backs of those that CONSENT to let them govern.. and a job which our gov't is failing at Miserably under O'Biden!.. Ugh..

What we have now.. is gonna get Soo much worse in the next 3 years. Unless Biden gets us into WWIII!!..Which would not be shocking at this juncture!

There have been A LOT of folks saying the "incompetency of this administration" well it's only incompetent, if it's not intentional.. I feel this admin and Obama before him set up a similar deal that the Chinese have.. the Long game.. at first it was subtle here in our gov't.. now it's in your face!.. 24/7/365!!

All I can say, Be careful out here in the cyber sphere! Funny how not many of us would have considered a place like the "Dark Web" Or someone testing your online vulnerabilities by hacking you! Stealing money, stealing your identity, stealing the title to your home.. with most being completely oblivious to those dangers! I have always been very hyper vigilant since the first hack.. the second was sadly on me, as I fell for something stupid.. but fortunately all is still intact in my online world with massive precautions! A scan with one piece of software or another to clean my PC...
Trust No one 100% in Gov't!!, I don't care who's gov't!! The Only ones you should trust 100% is God! & Yourself! ❤️

Nice to see you here as well!.. well yes I did too.. but the problem with the net is that it seems to have taken on a life of it's own...Not really sure any official can really fix the issues with the net...It's got it's good side and it's bad side, and I feel what we are seeing now a days is the bad side, the censorship.. the above mentioned cancel culture etc.. Good example is the trolls that just can't keep their pie holes shut, they just have to be contrary and get up in people's faces when it would be easier to just scroll on by, why bother commenting unless it's to sow discourse in a not so flattering way. I reckon trolls are a lot like gremlins, don't feed them after midnight.. or just don't feed them at all and they eventually go away. Libtards can't just not like something and leave it alone, they just have to make everyone around them miserable...example, a person goes with a bunch of friends to a lake/river.. and they are havin fun drinkin beer.. oops someone falls off the boat and dies, liberals want it so that No one can have beer at their party anymore... if they are offended at a program they just have to make that program go away, rather than flip the channel! Too many butt hurt snowflakes out there.

When the internet was first introduced, my wife said the internet is not going to be good for this country, I chuckled. Now to my chagrin, I realized she was right.

I only saw the positive aspects of the internet, how efficiently it can be used to get a job done. Larai defined so many of the negatives but it’s clear there is so much more.

Whenever a new technology is introduced, I marvel at the great capabilities it has and the positive contributions it will make to all mankind and rarely give a thought to how a technology in the hands of the evil and wicked can be used for nefarious deeds.

As I grow older, I take my wife more seriously and have become a much better listener and much more fearful of how a new technology in the hands of an enemy can be used for evil.

This is why one must take a hard look at any new technology being sold on its merits.

The next new technology that will be sold on its merits will be chip implants and those who stand to profit will sell them to an unsuspecting small percentage of the population. Over time it will appear by many more to have great benefit and be widely accepted. Eventually, it will be considered so beneficial, it will be mandated by the government. Then it will be used for powerful people, the government, hackers for nefarious purposes.

Technology can be a blessing or a curse!

Yes!.. there is a song that comes to mind, by Zager & Evans - In the Year 2525.. Very profound given when it was written-1969.. Yes there are plenty of good things regarding the net.. the double edged sword of social media.. on the one hand, I can keep up with family that live across the country, see all their pictures of my nieces n nephews etc. On the other hand.. well it can be bad as well as we have seen over the years.

Larai, I love that song and have listened to it many times over the years. It is scary as to how some of the lyrics have and are are actually coming true. This site is the only one I read and occasionally respond on. Some of the more liberal crowd here many times make me laugh and also sadden me as to their one sided, rose colored glasses view of the U. S. and the world. Maybe they should listen to the song as we have and reflect on the past in regard to the present and future.

When this tune came out, I was only 8.. but as the years go by, in this cyber world I realized just how profound those lyrics are today!..As far as the liberal crowd here.. seems that there is a Lot of h**e..
