If Trump was such a push over, why didn't Putin make a move between January 20, 2017 and January 2021? The fact is Trump placed more sanctions on Russia during his term than did Obama.

Plus, Trump would have spoken to Putin and tried to find another solution.

I don't see this as a land grab...

Yes, European leaders (most of whom I have zero respect for) have leaped into action against Russia...

I have my own theories as to why, but an waiting to learn more before I make any predictions...

Ask yourself why the Ukrainians are getting better press.... Why would the MSM do that???

They are getting better press because they deserve it. Russia is winning. How could they not be winning ? Their greater resources and more modern weaponry gives them a great advantage. That said, here comes the however.

The Ukrainians are defending their home soil, so their spirit is greater than the Russian soldiers, many of whom are conscripts. These Russian soldiers did not know where they would be fighting and are not happy to be ordered to k**l Ukrainians, who are almost countrymen.

The Russian Army is almost in the same position that Stalin put the Red Army in during the 1940 war with Finland. The Red Army finally won, but they embarrassed themselves losing so many troops fighting a very weak country.

This war is exposing some glaring weaknesses in the Russian armed forces. The failure to grab air superiority before now. The lack of night fighting capability. Russian Troops running out of food and ammunition. How widespread that is I don't know, but there are reports of it. Of course it could also be American propaganda, but maybe not.
