1 small delay in exiting…
I feel sorry for the eternal future of those who have no reverence for the God breathed Word of God.

Thank you for fittingly capstoning this thread without edification, truth, rhyme or reason, in the same manner in which it was written -

The thread began with "troysal declaring
"there is one Christmas myth which is much more insidious — the Incarnation."

The incarnation which he denounces as an insidious myth refers to the literal in-fleshing of the eternal Son of God — Jesus "putting on our flesh and blood" and becoming fully human while remaining fully God. The doctrine of the incarnation is based on John 1:14: “The Word became flesh.” - that the eternal second person in the Godhead of the Trinity took on humanity in the person of Jesus of Nazareth.

I too, if I had my druthers, would have long ago been out of here, but felt compelled to search and seek out this proposed jostling (among the living Christian saints who are opposing troysal), as they attempt to determine 1.) "who is smarter, wiser, or more powerful," and 2.) the "ugly pride" said to now be oozing into the thread.

I have found neither, and am accordingly vacating this thread, which was refuted by God's word before it was written, as the denial of the Incarnation, apart from which there is no Christian faith, is apostasy.
