Add to that, Child Labor law's else we would be working to the death all those wonderful fetuses that you conservatives claim to love...

I challenge my Republican friends to post a list of accomplishments benefiting society as a whole (the common good) for which their party has advocated and got enacted.

Add to that list its effect: poverty and dependence on a bureaucratic fiefdom.

Backs up my point. When in the past decade have Republicans put forth anything to actually help the people?

Margaret Sanger, the founder of the murderous Planned Parenthood, still has the support of the demorat party. 65 million infants murdered since 1973. I guess you call that helping the people??? Sanger was even Hitlery rotten and Chelsea Clinton's idol. We know how that clan likes to help themselves.

So let me get this straight, the north was only made up of Republicans? I didn't know that. LOL I see, so the civil war was really a war of simply conflicting party's and not civil rights and freedom.

If some people were to get into the real meat and history of the civil war ... they might learn freeing s***es was both a cover and a byproduct of it, being the south wanted to be more like the north is a bit more accurate.

Once upon a time the Republican party was the party of progress and change, believe it or not.

Today's GOP seems to want to take the country in reverse and they're almost succeeding ...To this the only thing that can be said is " There are No words " to describe the condition of the condition it is trying to purport.
Both sides are in need of assistance, so it is unfair to blame just one, even though one is definitely deserved more often than not. And it is not the progress side who appears to want to go forward not back.
Difficult to achieve when nobody can get on the same page in the same book. And so it goes.

It matters little who has the reins, it is what is done or not done with them.

Democrats are committed to the ens***ement of the masses to the state just as their co-ideologues, Lenin, Stalin, Mussolini, Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot and Castro were and as Biden, Xi, Obama, Hillary are. And like all of them, they despise the common working man.

What I love is that conservatives are going to try to lay claim to progressive changes...changes that no self-respecting conservative would support today...or even back then!

NO conservative is going to 'lay claim' to the destruction you and your ilk have done to this country!!

Full List of 172 Republicans Who Opposed the Violence Against Women Act
BY JAMES WALKER ON 3/18/21 AT 6:00 AM EDT

The House v**ed on Wednesday to reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act after 29 Republicans broke with their party to support the bill, which offered women protections from domestic violence, sexual assault and other harassment.

Lawmakers approved the bill in a 244-172 v**e following its lapse in late 2018. The Democratic-controlled House sought to renew the bill the following year, but it was held up in the Republican-controlled Senate.
Spin all you want, the facts will shut you down.. ... (show quote)

There are already laws protecting people from those things...do they need extra protection?

You should know that it was the Republicans who championed and passed the civil rights act of 64, and the v****g rights act of 65. They were pushed through by roughly 90% of the Republicans and opposed by roughly 75% of democrats. The democratic party is, and always was, the party of r****m. Check it out for yourself, before you post more ignorant lies.

I remember way back when and Trump policies gave us an economic boom with record unemployment of minorities. His tax cuts to businesses helped them expand, return to the states and hire a larger work force. Lots of other "stuff" too. But hey, it's better now, right??
