I dutifully began to watch the video, but didn't bother with it after seeing the slogan "Jesus is Lord" under the speaker. I did hear him say there ain't but "two g****rs" a couple of times.

However many g****rs there are is relatively unimportant, anyway. People should be respected: (1) because they have feelings, (2) for their own self-determination, (3) regardless of wh**ever g****r they claim, (4) regardless of wh**ever g****r somebody else wants to pin on them, and (5) aside from wh**ever physical body they were born with.

One aspect of respect is helping those who have a psychiatric disorder.

Can a chinese become African just by claiming he is? Two g****rs, that's it. One cannot go from one to the other just by claiming it.

That's creation or evolution if you want to complicate things. The answer is still the same.

Respect is earned not conveyed for some nebulous reason.

YES, Kimmer, there is only ONE race of humans. It is called the HUMAN RACE.
God does NOT see "colors" of people. As children of God, we also should be colored blind. Like Martin Luther King, Jr. said "that people should be judged by their character and not their skin color". And yes, God ONLY MADE A MAN AND A WOMAN. What ever you identify with is your problem. STOP MAKING THE REST OF THE WORLD CATER TO YOUR INSANITY. You can be who you want to be, as long as you do not interfere with NORMAL PEOPLE'S LIVES.

What an interesting observation! And it could even serve as a sly, subtle remark, too.

I suspect there may be some false concept involved in the formulation of your statement, but am not sure.

Maybe you are thinking that people claiming g****rs which are not traditionally widely accepted have psychiatric disorders.

In any case, "helping those who have a psychiatric disorder" is a tricky matter (that is, it can be delicate or error-prone (and occasionally may even be dangerous)).

Supposing you were to encounter someone with a real psychiatric disorder (surely there are none around here, but when you are out in the world...), then, if I may make a suggestion, think "respect" first, and "help" only secondly, if at all.

I don't think so. Even if we skip over the word "g****r" (which can, and probably should, be interpreted psychologically and sociologically -- and that's a major point about g****r, by the way) and go to biological "sex", there's still potential for more than two sexes, just by physical characteristics, because some people are born with a non-standard (that is, not one of the two most commonly recognized) set of characteristics. I've read that there are a lot more like that than we would normally think there are. A lot of them wouldn't be in any hurry to inform us of all their non-standard conformations, so it makes sense that there would be more of them than we know about.

Moreover, aside from the more obvious physical characteristics, biological sex probably (I'm not an expert, so I say "probably") has more subtle characteristics like hormones, which can vary, such that some people may be biologically different sexually in significant ways which are not readily perceivable on the outside.

Then there are the eunuchs, not only in their vast numbers in domesticated animals, but also in fewer numbers among humans. I think (don't you?) that there were more human eunuchs in some societies, historically, than there are today. I'm sure there's at least one kind of eunuch, so together with the standard males and females, that makes three sexes or three g****rs, right there. Some eunuchs might be offended (and rightly so) at being left out of the count of g****rs. And it's no good just trying to call them "male", to lump them in with the more usual type called "male", as if there were no difference in g****r. One can see that's no good, by how most of us feel about volunteering to make the switch. There's definitely a significant difference.

No, not unless you mean some other kind of respect. Feeling beings deserve respect, because they are feeling beings. This is true whether there's something "nebulous" about it or not.

I would agree that it is also good to "earn" some respect, rather than just sit there having feelings.

So, for example, there's this one person, who has sometimes treated me like dirt, and that's wrong, because I have feelings. And I wouldn't stand for it. I put some distance between her and me. Now I help her with some physical labor. So she respects me for my sk**l and strength and that work which I do, but it's also very important that she should respect my feelings, even when I'm not actively doing something for her benefit (and even when I'm just sitting still having feelings).

So, I help her when I can, but I don't let myself in for a lot of abuse. If she starts that up again, I'm either out of there or showing her up.
