PeterS, you have a wrong analogy. The right of a woman to abort was approved in Roe vs Wade in 1973. That reason for approval was women were given the liberty to choose, as covered on the 14th Amendment.
However, the right of the fetus was ignored. Under the constitution, fetus when fully developed as human being must also have the right so survive. The living- breathing fetus at a viable age, is considered human being and constitutionally protected under the law.
You are denying the rights of the baby or infant. They have constitutional rights also.
Now, you will be disappointed when the SCOTUS decides that this case be settled under the state constitution. Legislative process in the federal must follow concerning the 1973 case in order to replace or annul. In this case, the people of the state must decide and a state legislative process is needed. Give the infants or babies their constitutional rights. By law they are human beings upon viable age. But in God, they are human beings upon conception.
