I would venture to say there have been many situations like this where the suspect is hispanic, black asian etc. and are still alive. BTW what about the infamous OJ Simpson who got off with murdering a white woman. It seems exploiting the laws work for all people and exploiting race works.

"John Crawford III, a 22-year-old black man, was shot and k**led by police on August 5 — four days before Michael Brown — inside a Walmart in Beavercreek, Ohio. Today, a grand jury decided the officers involved will not face criminal charges.

"But surveillance video, shown publicly for the first time, shows the circumstances that led to yet another young black man dead at the hands of law-enforcement. While police were responding to reports of a man waving a gun in the store, the footage shows Crawford walking casually — talking on the phone — with an air soft rifle (a BB gun, essentially) that he picked up, un-boxed, from the Walmart shelves.

"In the 911 call from a concerned customer, 24-year-old Ronald Ritchie, who is white, describes Crawford "walking around with a gun in the store ... like, pointing it at people." Later in the call, Ritchie says, "He just pointed it at, like, two children." None of that is on the tape.

"Just before the officers arrive, Crawford can be seen swinging the pellet gun nonchalantly with no one else in view. At one point, Crawford drops the gun and appears to fall, just as cops can be seen rushing toward him with their guns drawn. Seconds later, Crawford is dead:

"According to the law-enforcement version of events, Crawford failed to drop the weapon when ordered, a claim lawyers for his family disputes. It all happened so fast, and the tape has no audio, so the officers' alleged verbal commands cannot be heard.

"Prosecutors said today that the grand jury considered charges of murder, reckless homicide, and negligent homicide, but decided on none of the above. It's the third time in five years police in the county have fatally shot someone. None have faced charges.

"Meanwhile, a Missouri grand jury has until January to bring charges against Ferguson police offer Darren Wilson in the k*****g of Brown. We'll see.

"This post has been updated throughout."

So, to me, I didn't get to see any video as there were no links to a video, nor did I get to hear any audio, of the incident. But, from the description of events in the article, I'd say the cops over-reacted. He wasn't pointing the gun at anyone in particular and the gun was in an open box to begin with. For you to say the man was guilty of anything can only be based on "facts not yet in evidence," or your own prejudices, which is rather telling, given the topic of this thread.

Why should k*****g of b****s be of any concern to white people. Just ask Kink Obuma's former Chief of staff, the great ruler of Chicago, the black on black murder capital of the world. How many white people have cut off the head of a black person in the last 100 ears? I ant going to pick up a black man walking on a desolate highway, but, I would think about picking up a white man further on I he looked like a decent person. I do not give to vagabonds, long hairs, dirties, beards and the likes. I tell them to get a job. If they would have a tub os shoe polish and a shine rag & and offer to shine my , always need shine shoes, I would make a donation. There are many small inexpensive services a panhandler could do that will get them a good living as opposed o no living.

Here in California, people let out of prison are told to contact the welfare office for benefits. Food stamps are one benefit. When a addict is discharged from treatment he is told to apply for food stamps. Food SNAPS are now considered a right just like health insurance. Is there no limit to which this do good, feel good government will go while burdening the middle class. Welfare and race are out of control fanatical issues.

The subject is discrimination. After 60 years of forcing the white man to integrate their white schools thus, giving the black child the same opportunities as w****s. Affirmative action give b****s an unfair advantage in colleges and Universities based solely on race. Yet b****s, for the most part, do not assimilate into white neighborhoods but form their own like Ferguson, Mo.

As a white female who lived in the ghetto for several years due to an unforeseen financial catastrophe I can clearly state with unbiased eyes r****m goes both ways. I cannot tell you how much derogatory h**e speech I heard from my black neighbors against white men - not white women, mind you, but white men - that would make a sailor blush. Many of my neighbors would not celebrate the 4th of July because that's a "white mans holiday"; etc. That being said, however, most white men refuse to even set foot in a ghetto for fear of being shot at. White men do wh**ever they can to get out of the city - and out of the black neighborhood.

It is perhaps more about a men jockeying for power than it is about race. Black and white men make it about race, but as an observer I have drawn a different conclusion. Since as a general rule women and children are left out of it, it's not race directly - it's a struggle for male power that never ends.
