From the viewpoint of the "Progressives" it was a smart move. how long is it going to take him to remove ALL the incriminating documents? Is Hillary going to take the post, leaving the presidency open for Elizabeth Warren so we can have more years of Obama Plus, round two?

Not sure but Obama can also use the recess appointment rule if Holder steps down immediately.
