I doubt if China is stupid enough to start a nuclear with us. In such a war, there could be no winner, only massive death and destruction. China can't invade us. We are too far away, and have a huge fleet in the Pacific to stop any such actions on Chinas part. We also have military bases in Eastern Asia to fight China should the need ever arise. Historically, China wants to be the dominant power in their part of the world. This is for defensive reasons. China was carved up between the western colonial nations in the eighteenth century. I don't believe they want a war. They want to provide jobs for an ever increasing population. You don't provide jobs if you have just started a nuclear war.
Don't worry about Biden's military advisers. The generals and admirals were far more worried about Trumps launching a war against China, or Iran, in his last days in office. They would have stopped Trump from pressing the button, and I have no doubt, they would stop Biden from doing the same thing. Biden has decades of experience as a US Senator, and VP.
He doesn't impress me as a person that would ever launch nukes against a potential enemy unless they launched a missile attack against us, and as I said, China isn't stupid!
