Why no treason/i**********n charges? I have no idea.. it sure is to my eyes. must be a lawyer thing..

It seems some could still be charged with S******n in its various forms.. but that may have aged off.. sorta hard to find the specific articles I hoped for..

During Donald Trump’s presidency, the UC Davis law professor Carlton Larson spent a lot of time on the phone telling journalists: “It’s not treason.”

Trump’s behavior towards Russia: not treason. All the FBI investigations Trump labeled as treason: also not treason. Then came the 6 January attack on the Capitol by hundreds of Trump supporters. That was treason according to the founding fathers, Larson wrote in an op-ed the next day.

But in the three months since 6 January, however, there has been little public discussion of “treason” as the framework for understanding what happened, Larson said. “Everything was ‘Treason, treason, treason,’ when it wasn’t, and now you have an event that is closer to the original 18th-century definition of treason than anything that’s happened, and it’s almost silent. Nobody is using the term at all,” he said.

FBI finds scant evidence U.S. Capitol attack was coordinated
Though federal officials have arrested more than 570 alleged participants, the FBI at this point believes the violence was not centrally coordinated by far-right groups or prominent supporters of then-President Donald Trump, according to the sources, who have been either directly involved in or briefed regularly on the wide-ranging investigations.
The FBI's assessment could prove relevant for a congressional investigation that also aims to determine how that day's events were organized and by whom.

Senior lawmakers have been briefed in detail on the results of the FBI's investigation so far and find them credible, a Democratic congressional source said.

What i**********n? Who is been charged with i**********n? Or treason for that fact?

Had Congress listened to the recommendations of the DC police department and the FBI warning them specifically pelosi of a potential issue they wouldn’t have wound up having what they did wind up having. Dereliction of duty should be a charge, incompetence subjecting the citizens to potential injury should be a charge, forming a c**p should be a charge. Etecetcetc..
And I still like an answer as to why if there was so much fear the c*****l p****e were letting people in unlocking gates open doors etc.
