In Spirit, we each possess nothing. Nothing of real or lasting value can be owned or even rented by us. And I am not just talking about material possessions. There is also the severe problems of Beliefs. We do not own the mind for it.

We do not possess virtue. We do not possess power. We do not by a wide stretch possess Truth. We do not possess rights. We do not possess love.

We do not even possess consciousness, if surrendered to Spirit and Grace. We are, we are meant to be, a part of the consciousness, the mind of Christ. Christ is love and we were all meant to be a nexus of love.

This is the radical nature of Grace.

When the Creator breathed his breath of spirit into clay Adam came alive.

God loaned Adam his holy spirit, the only breath coming from God is all holy.

King David at one low point in his struggles, asked for God to not take his holy spirit from him, David wanted to live.

When we do give up that loaned breath, back to God, we should be sending it back with as little human stain as possible.

As long as we're alive, there is still time to clean up our messes and our minds.

All men and women who've ever lived will stand in judgment with assisted instant recall of our whole lives...people will be raised to paradise others everlasting horror.

Even in your religion there is a warning...1 Corinthians 10:12..."so he who is thinking to stand·····take heed lest he fall"

A person is never supposed to think that they're so in that it's a given.

Good morning, Michael!

I sitting here watching our hanging baskets of ferns swinging on our screened in porch and the rain that has just begun. We are going to get quite a bit of rain and some wind!We have dodged the bullet of this hurricane here on the Alabama coast, but the poor folks west of us are going to get hammered again! We went through Lake Charles on I-10 a few weeks ago and it still looks like a war zone for miles and miles! My heart is heavy thinking about the storm that will soon cause more devastation. Time to go…..just got a tornado warning!

Those of us who accept the entire Bible as the inspired Word of God have many scriptures that assure us of the certainty of our salvation through accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior! These are just three.

John 20-24
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

1 John 5:10-13
Whoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe, God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son. And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life.

John 10:27-30
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are one.”

I am happy to hear that you're not going to get hit with Ida.

I truly hope that it doesn't cause the havoc and destruction that Katrina did.

I do appreciate your considerate reply.

As you know, I believe all answers are covered in the Tanach.

When I first started stepping back and comparing the two different religions of my old and new Testaments.

I was scared about how that I was perceiving my being automatically saved by professing Jesus and trying to lead a Christian life.

Then actually doing a line item comparison between what Jesus failed to accomplish in his ministry that is clearly defined in the Tanach....Too, I felt guilty for even seeing the way that Jesus was glorified as God when nothing in the Tanach can honestly be said to say that the Moshiach would be half God half man.

I was so indoctrinated that I still occasionally doubt my decision to leave Christianity, but after much prayer and diligent study, I've made my decision to believe that we all still wait on the true Moshiach.

I know that I used to force the two books together to say the same thing, as that was the way that I was taught.

I do listen to some rabbis now if they stick directly to the Tanach.

Because just because someone wears a long black suit and long beard with a black hat, I do not automatically believe what they say becaus Jews have differing doctrines and beliefs just like the many Christians do....maybe not the vast diversity, but all the same there are differences in some areas.

I believe no one has a perfect grasp of everything and that's why if I can't see it with my own discernment that's when it's time to ask for help...from God.

The church that I belonged too had a saying that "we moved forward on our knees"

I still believe that philosophy.

I'm watching my grandsons today and it's almost brunch time.

I, as you do, believe that the coming of Moshiach is clearly approaching.

It's just my humble perception sees it as his first and only coming to restore the whole earth back to the Father and His everlasting holy commandements and ordinances.

Moses mentioned God's "book" Exodus 32:32 But now, if You will only forgive their sin, but if not, erase my name from the record You have "written"

Sorry for the long winded reply but thanks for reading it anyways.

Your freind, Michael.
