Grandma, you are allowed to be biased. I see future astronauts (commuters) doing technical or scientific work the makes life better for everyone. Raise them to be good and happy. That's called success.

They have everything to do with Bidens policies. No Keystone pipeline, the cancelation of this will cost the US $15billion, Russias pipeline is okay though. No more fracking, no new oil leases. It's a full on assault against oil, which happens to be the propellant for the largest jump EVER in humanities quality of life.

Sooo, please don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining.

The keystone pipeline has to do with Canada and their export, and refining it before it leaves, the refinery is making the money.

We completely agree on this, pigs may be flying. There is no incentive to "cure" a disease, when you can just "treat" it. Drug companies need to be banned from advertising again. You gotta admit that Trump was on the right path when he was going to have big pharma charge US customers the lowest price a particular Drug was sold for. No more...prescription X costs $30 in the US, but we'll sell it in Mexico for $3

Well that's never changed, we still pay the most, it should be under some sort of global prejudice, I don't think we should pay more then any other country. Seems to me we pay for it the most in order to give it away to other countries, why should that be our cost?

H**e to say it but it's how it works with our health insurance in the states too. Fair, no, but it's how it works.

And the refining is being done here. Either ship it by train, which Warren Buffet owns/controls, or by truck. Both are more ecologically harmful. That is what my mom referred to as cutting off your nose to spite your face. That's also without considering the national security or economic implications.

It's a bond unlike any other. The bond with your own children is strong, but the one with grandchildren is special. I don't know how to describe it any other way.

I’m with you, I already think kids today are in for some serious mistakes we made/make in this cancel culture of so much I wonder if they even know the true history of our country and cultures...Not just the negative everything!!!

In one respect that flying into space for who knows what may be the savings grace for them!!!???

But I can kinda see that as well, now you mention it.

My psyche rejects the complete picture regarding the proximity of the baby's head to Bezos's monstrous mechanical erection, however.

Lolol, yes, well certainly can not defy THAT logic!!!

Appears his subliminal intent did not go unnoticed either...~~

It is a wonderful day that is! I whooped with joy when my son called to tell me the news they were going to have a baby...and then he told me to sit down because there was more! 😮😊

Just like your own kids, grandkids change your lives in an amazing way. You see a reflection of yourself and your son or daughter in them. Good luck with your miracle!!

What water supply?

We can either t***sport this crude oil by pipeline, the safest way, or by rail or truck.

We’re not going forward with pipeline we are back to same ole, same ole t***sporting as we are once again..

If the media had any integrity, they would report on the true motivation behind the Keystone XL Pipeline’s cancelation and why it means so much to the left. Unfortunately, that will never happen because they are too busy talking about how Biden is the next messiah. Before we get into the details, keep in mind that the cancelation does not stop the country’s shipping of oil, nor does it eliminate oil extraction from the Canadian oil sands. It just makes the t***sportation of the oil more expensive, dangerous, and less environmentally unfriendly.

Many on the left mistakenly believe that the Keystone XL pipeline’s cancelation will stop oil extraction from the Canadian Oil Sands fields. It will still be extracted from the ground and hauled by trucks and trains like it is now, less environmentally friendly and safe. So why is there such an outcry to prevent a safer way of t***sporting oil we know will still be extracted and shipped throughout the United States? This is about who benefits from shipping oil from Canada’s oil sands fields into the United States for refinement and consumption. Prominent Democratic donor, billionaire Warren Buffett will profit handsomely from the decision, being compensated by the Biden administration for his support. Buffett’s Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad and his trucking companies will be the notable beneficiaries because they are the primary t***sporters of Canadian oil from the oil sand fields into the United States. The cancelation of the pipeline effectively reduces Buffet’s competition under the guise of environmental activism..

The Pipeline and Hazardous Material Safety Administration, part of the U.S. Department of T***sportation, records all pipeline incidents. In 2019, fewer than a dozen pipeline incidents were considered severe, and one tragically resulted in four workers in Texas being k**led. Trucking, which is the fallback t***sportation method after the pipeline is canceled, is considerably less safe. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration under The Department of T***sportation records accidents involving Trucks. In 2018, the most recent year recorded, trucks were involved in 4,862 fatal crashes, 112,000 crashes that resulted in injury, and 414,000 crashes which resulted in property damage. In 2019, rail accidents accounted for 11,434 incidents injuring 7,730 with 937 fatalities.

Something amazingly not being discussed in this conversation is the massive renewable energy investments coming from the pipeline’s construction. Canada’s TC Energy Corp. had committed to spending $1.7 billion on solar, wind, and battery power to operate the partially completed 2,000-mile pipeline. The company also pledged to hire a union workforce and eliminate all greenhouse-gas emissions from operations by 2030.

Yes, that's what I think about, right now diabetes in this country is hitting epidemic proportions, it's a real money maker, no one can tell me we can't find a cure, it is a malfunction of the metabolic system. People are suffering with this dis-ease, losing limbs and life and their quality of life but that would mean going against big pharm profits. And there's our sign right there. How ultimately selfish can people be?

" no one can tell me we can't find a cure, "

I will tell you. Do you think Big Pharma is like Big G****l W*****g where everyone is on the same page. Big Pharma is more than one company. They compete against one another. If one Big Pharma company comes up with a diabetes treatment that is better or cheaper than the others they will win. The others will then leave that field or more likely come up with even better or cheaper products to compete.

You remind me of the people in the late 1970s during the gasoline crisis who spread the story that some garage mechanic had invented a carburetor that would give a car 200 per gallon, but the BIG OIL companies bought it up and destroyed the blue prints to keep it off the market.

I have some exclusive photos of Bigfoot that I can sell to you really really cheap if you are interested.

I did freeze! You know the expression "my jaw dropped to the floor"...that was me for about an hour when I clicked off the phone! Yes, I've done major damage at Fat Brain Toys, Melissa & Doug, Hopscotch, and many more! (I also now have lots of reasons to get out the old crochet hook!). 😊
