Henry R. Greenfield

I am reminded of Guiliani’s reference as the hair dye rolled down the side of his face to Joe Pesci in “My Cousin Vinny” who holds up the 2 fingers for the lady that cannot see. It was a clumsy yet brilliant metaphor for the situation for the US today and the 2 sides.

They cannot see each other and each other's viewpoint, so both sides are way more distrustful than at any point since the Viet Nam War. I know because I was there during the war and we all fought it out for years about was it right, get in, get out, hippies, hard hats, the silent majority, the moral majority. On and on it went.

Real conservatives, not Trump supporters who are angry right now and rightly so as their leader has been taken down and is seen by millions as a sort of martyr for the cause, but real conservatives are not fearful at all about Biden.

They know there is no reason to fear Biden and the stock market which is a barometer of what corporations believe will happen in the future, is far more concerned about Trump’s volatility and getting rid of the p******c than they are about Biden.

Do any conservatives who have paid any attention at all in the past 40+ years not know Biden? And what Biden is going to do and more importantly what Biden can do?

Everyone that I know that has money and is conservative and they go a lot more hand in hand than the silly elitist propaganda from the right, has put their money away. White people who are conservative and have money had a wonderful time during Trump’s 4 years. They got a tax cut personal and corporate and capital gains, and a nice bump in inheritance protection; I mean you couldn’t ask for more. It has been a great ride but Trump had outlived his usefulness so they are not bothered at all that he is gone as he was not only erratic he was becoming unstable and a serious problem on the autocratic side.

True Trump supporters would beg to differ but they don’t run anything. Conservatives run the country, the country is owned literally by the top 10% and they are more firmly in charge than ever.

So why are they not worried? Well we covered the key area, wealth which is protected and they are good on that side, the most important side, their money.

The other stuff:

China - Biden cannot and will not change anything on China, Trump has made that impossible. So stop worrying.

Taxes - Not gonna happen as long as McConnell is there. Again smart guys are not worried.

Budget - again some small bumps in education and yes a move into the environment but alternative energy means
jobs. Smart guys know it and are moving out of f****l f**ls.

Climate - Conservatives know something needs to be done. They are not worried about the Paris Climate Accords as it is toothless.

Russia - they are happy Trump is gone, they didn’t like the up/down pandering and definitely happy Trump is not around with Kim/NK and Xi /China neither of which will get any time with Biden.

Police Reform - No worries Mitch will put Tim Scott back on the case and they will make a deal and get rid of chokeholds and some type of commission. Conservatives don’t have a problem as they know Biden/Harris are actually police supporters. I mean she was blasted by the left as to tough on B****s.

Healthcare - Biden is changing nothing, everyone is keeping their private health insurance so real conservatives know that filling up emergency rooms by kicking 22 mil off the ACA is a bad idea and they don’t mind Biden pushing the Medicare age down to 60 and including SSI. They will complain but they don’t really care. And they know big pharma has to give up something and even Trump has pushed that as he is leaving. So what’s to really be worried about...nothing.

Infrastructure means money and they didn’t like Trump giving his friends billions of dollars in contracts. They are happy to see some bid process and they will partner with minorities and control all of the contracts. So no worries.

Military - all folks with money have businesses around the world and while there is an isolationist element in the republican party that is quite real, everyone will be happy to end the erratic Trump and the one man State Dept., Mike Pompeo.

I will stop now, what is to worry about. McConnell will control the Senate and Democrats were chastened and hardly have a majority in the House.

This is the best outcome they could have had, Trump the wild man is gone and Biden a nice moderate old guy with small majority in the House and Republicans in the Senate plus controlling 26 state houses means it is still happy days.

This is all noise and bluster and all my friends with money would just like to end the p******c and under Trump it has been a mess and they know it and they want it over.

We're paying over a dollar more a gallon for gas. Food prices going up. Building supplies up.

Bunch of really good jobs nixed from utter stupidity much to Russia's delight.

Confidence in American institutions down.

Confidence in the media waaay down.

It isn't joe Biden's doing since he's not doing anything except what he's being told to by someone else.

If Trump set things up so that "Biden" can't frell them up that's to Trump's credit. 😉

It seems to me the author is saying "All the bad stuff we had planned we're not able to do because Trump set booby traps so please forget about this audit business, don't join in any class action lawsuits and let us enjoy the fruits of our c***ting for crying out loud!"

I see one governor is thinking of using the state police to go after people who have sworn in affidavits to witnessing fraud, their lawyers etc. That would be a mistake.

Already, I can tell you, more people are quietly supporting this now, not less.

It is kind of insulting to say "fear" when it's more like "anger"...you might even say conviction.

The good kind. The kind that motivates one to fix something that's been broken and deteriorating a long time but has worked well enough to get by with.

I went to work at a big dairy in Florida where that happened. They "got by" with their equipment and facilities for years and years and finally they were forced by the circumstances to fix almost everything. They got a new manager and the guy did a hell of a job.

We've driven the car until the computer can no longer compensate for the wear on the spark plugs. It's got nothing to do with fear. We just won't go anywhere until we change the plugs and that is what we will do.

Not a'tall, sir. It's simply a waste of time to provide t***h to Donald Trump toadies.

The people who can't/won't believe that Joseph Biden won fair and square can't base it on numbers, because the numbers were there and given to us. So, are they essentially basing it on the fact that the news simply declared it?

I have been thinking on all the 2020 E******n deniers and they have one quality in common… they all display a rabid and monumental distrust of the U.S. Government and all that it says, does and stands for. Verified numbers and statistics cannot sway them, Sworn testimony cannot convince them. If you produce 1000 verified facts, they will seek some sort of excuse or story, regardless of how illogical, ridiculous or farfetched, to deny what is simply the God’s honest t***h.

The News Media did not “make” Joe Biden President. The people did that. The v**es have been counted, recounted and, in some cases, recounted again. The didn’t get the result they hoped for. Therefore, there must be a fraudulent conspiracy afoot.

I think the t***slation is, do not fear Biden because McConnell in the Senate, and the large Republican Minority in the House will stop Joe Biden from doing too much harm.

That then acknowledges that Joe Biden would do a lot of harm if only he could. So then in conclusion Republicans shouldn't try to unseat Joe Biden in 2024 because they will always have the means to control him ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Slat, what pisses people off is the sworn testimony and affidavits, scores of them, that were ignored. People who swore under penalty of perjury that they witnessed blatant tampering and were told they had no "standing."
In Georgia, way over one hundred thousand v**es that were completely out of the legal chain of custody and should not have been counted until the matter was resolved. (It still hasn't been, by the way.) Considerably more than 100,000 v**es in a state Biden won by 12,000 v**es. Poll watchers sent home and counting resumed. Video proof of poll workers double and triple counting b****ts after poll watchers were sent home for a non existent water main break. Truckloads of write in b****ts, all Democrat, appearing in the dead of night. More b****ts than v**ers. All of this ignored. Joe Biden, whose rallies didn't attract enough people to fill a phone booth, getting more v**es than Obama who was quite popular.
Worried about the spike in C***D? Check for yourself how much of it is due to the tsunami of wetbacks Biden has allowed into this country by axing all of the Trump border protection protocols that were working. A 670% increase in illegal border crossings since the Senile Sock Puppet was inaugurated.
