So what if I am Liberal.
There is just a feeling about problems that are happening in the world.
A feeling that things are not going as well as they could.
There is a great divide in what & where the problems stem from.
I for one along with some others feel that all of us are in this together.
The feeling that most of us are much more alike in our basic needs & wants.
The feeling that the basic well being of each is important to all of us.
A feeling that every one needs a chance to survive the rising waters that are sinking them.
The feeling that after awhile we have enough & can leave some on table for others.
The feeling that others security is important to our security.
The feeling that all should be rewarded for what they add to the system.
The feeling that as the gap in wealth widens the problems increase for most.
This is part of what I as a Liberal person feel.

Pity you don't have a real man around to guide you.

Once again, speak for yourself...I have no liberal needs. I can stand on my own two feet, I need no help from the government, or liberals.
So I assume you will refuse Social Security and Medicare when you become eligible, that you refuse to drive on government built roads or ride on government subsidized trains or airlines, that you would not accept medical care at a municipal hospital, wouldn't send your children to government supported schools or universities, avoid government inspected food, and refuse to breathe the air kept (somewhat) clean by government environmental regulations.
I agree a great post response !!!!!!

Floyd, much, if not all, of what you listed is probably agreed upon by most on the forum. Your mistake is in catagorizing yourself as a liberal. That, alone, distanced you from many conservatives on the forum. If you had said you were a conservative, you would have had the reverse response...condemned by many liberals, and praised by most conservatives.
To me, most feel much the same way as you posted, but many just can't see we are all in this together. The devil is in the details of working out our differences, and finding a compromise. Of course, compromise is not in the minds of zealots from either side. It would appear to be a 4-letter word for them.
That is the real tragedy facing our nation.

Ahhhh, a fauxcahontas follower. I paid into Social security and Medicare, pal. My taxes paid for the roads, schools, and public t***sportation. I will accept medical at a hospital because I am on medicare, and I paid into that. The clean air I breathe has nothing to do with government environmental regulations, pal...I live way out in the sticks on a mountain where the air is fresh, and always has been. Nice try liberal, but that dog don't hunt. Now, go renew your C*******t Party USA membership card.

A woman does not need a man to guide her. She needs a man to support her, hold her hand, and love her as much as she loves him.
