Neither, it's just old age sneaking up on you. I write better if I'm sitting vs standing in line at the grocery store. And my credit rating went down because I don't owe anyone, anything. They said I could improve my score if I got another credit card or owed more, to more people. I chose not to take their advice. If you have more calls from people who speak poor English, there probably trying to get enough info to steal your social security info and your identity. Welcome to your golden years. We have the money others are trying to steal. Congrats! I even got a call saying they were the FBI and I was being arrested. I hung up on them. No FBI ever showed up. It happens to me more each year, since I turned 65. I turn 67 in two months. Now I just think of creative ways to mess with them. I tell them I work for the FBI and my computer says your number is on our telephone fraud list. They usually hang up.

I hear ya! There are tons of s**mmers calling and the 'Do Not Call List' is worthless. I never answer the phone unless I know who the number belongs to.

I worked since I was 12-years-old (I turn 70 this year), never earned more than 2 1/2 - 3 times the minimum wage, and often less. But I saved and bought a home and rental property, forgoing cruises, trips to Europe, vacations, buying new cars, etc., so that I would be secure without relying only on Social Security. If they are raising the minimum wage to $15/hr, shouldn't SSI be the same amount?

Now, if you have money in the bank, the G-D Socialist Democrats and Biden are creating inflation, which, in other, words is a tax on your money. It affects people on fixed incomes and the poor the hardest. Ever since we took the silver out of coins after 1964 out money become more and more worthless.

The left wants to redistribute your wealth. Remember, "You didn't build that," and you didn't earn that, except on the backs of poor people according to the left. Bovine Scat! I worked hard for everything I have. They didn't earn it. I did. The least used word in the English language for l*****ts is 'earn.' 'Gratitude' is probably the second least used word.

I have gratitude for having won the lottery of life and being born in the greatest and freest country in history. I have always contributed to charities and helped friends and family in need, rather than depend on the government.
The bigger the government the smaller the citizen. I can decide for myself what I need and I don't need some faceless bureaucrat, far-removed in D.C., telling me what to do.

The definition of democracy is two wolves and a sheep deciding what to have for dinner. The wolves are knocking at the door.
