You do realize that the OT was the only scripture that Jesus and the apostles had and they considered it the very word of God. You cannot rightly understand the NT apart from the OT.
No kidding. I didn't ask you the question.

He has been proven wrong several times on other threads! He makes the same false claims over and over again by creating another thread against the deity of Jesus Christ and the Trinity! IMO!
It is my opinion that he is doing this for one reason and that is self promotion! It is not against the rules, as I understand it, but is in poor taste to use this forum to advertise his personal blog! However, anyone can participate if they choose to do so.

To give credit where credit is due he can answer a question without rambling on and on. I read his answers on the other forum. They are better than his articles IMO though I still don't agree with his opinion.

You focus on the Old Testament?
If you can't trust the Hebrew scriptures, you definitely can't trust the Greek that is supposed to be a continuing book.

My question was more along the lines if you focussed more on the Old Testament rather than the New.

I do. They are absolutely two different religious beliefs.

Interesting. Do you believe Christ died for us? Just a question. Lol

I believe that a system of repentance is all throughout the Hebrew scriptures.
Ezekiel 18 covers repentance thoroughly.
Verse 21 is very plain and clear that receiving God forgiveness has always been there.

Okay, thanks.
You bet...
Have you ever read Ezekiel 18?
What do you see in its context..please.?

Personal responsibility. What do you see?

I see that too.
I also read where a person can be forgiven and live even after being condemned to die.
Through earnest repenting from their wicked actions.
It's all there for biblical readers to understand.
Verse : 21 is very clear from God Himself.
It says nothing about needing a dying messiah to assume you sins.

The Old Testament points us to Christ and how we will be fulfilled in Christ. Christ also made numerous references to the Old Testament

I appreciate your reply. Arthritis is a monster.
When you get a chance, could you provide some Hebrew scriptures that are specific prophecies about Jesus.
I've read a lot of your posts since becoming a OPP member.
Your frankness and sincerity are great qualities.
Edit, I thought you joined OPP before I did.
