One of the best in history, he lifted the nation out of the depression brought electrification to wide swaths of rural America set up social security to prevent old age poverty and effectively guided the nation through World War Two. There was a fascinating series about his life on PBS recently if you are interested. He was not perfect but the best in modern times.
