You could answer your own argument . Where did these guns come from you ask ? CRIMINALS ! Why you asked do we have to defend against an estimated two and a half million crimes a year ? AGAIN the answer is CRIMINALS . THAT'S why we have the second amendment ! For law abiding citizens to have the right to bear arms & be legal about it , inorder to protect ourselves and family , FROM WHAT ? CRIMINALS. Criminals will always have guns , regardless of any law restricting them.
