I have seen tv shows where people are catching huge pythons and for the life of me I have no clue why these guys aren’t carrying 410 shotgun pistols and instead of putting themselves in danger to capture these huge snakes, just a well placed blast to the head and they are easy to put in a bag. You don’t see these same guys capturing alligators alive, on the Swamp People program, they “chute em” as Troy Landry says, then d**g their carcus into the boat. 👍👍

It is a good thing I don't live in Florida because I might run afoul of this law. I have been thinking of acquiring a few Democrats as pets. They are classified as snakes, well reptiles anyway.

A great idea and a long time coming. I think most were released from reptile centers that were destroyed during hurricanes years ago. I think it was hurricane Andrew, that in 92 tore up Homestead AFB, FL., and turned it into an Air Reserve Base. I went down there once before 92 to see the Coral Castle and the base. My brother lived about 80 miles north of there, at the time.

The problem mostly started for people keeping Python snakes as pets and when they got too big they would release them into the wild.
