Why is that? Especially since many of them own their own firearms for hunting and home protection or just for pleasure at gun ranges. I recall numerous times in the past here on OPP where they stated unequivocally that no one was coming after a citizens right to bare arms. Numerous times! An argument "what about isms if such and such thing occurs" and a potential for violence is in the mix. Well, the progressive Democrats are in fact working like hell to remove firearms from law biding Americans. Its all over the msm now. So now what do you think? Will you admit that you were incorrect? Probably not, but its all out there for all to see and hear.

Great, out of the blue you toss out one of the few regulations which I would side with you..
Yes, the red f**g laws have failed the purpose..
While the intent of the law is fine. the writing of the laws has been a big fail.. they let even an opinion from the guy next door lead to removal of guns by someone who is accused of mental/emotional incompetence.. no time limits, 30 days, 90days, indefinitely.. all over the calendar..
this incompetent writing of the law, is very remindful of another point of law not related to guns but so popular with the republicans..
So short of much rewriting of the laws.. I will have to agree with you on this..
I do not like or support "red f**g" laws as I have seen them..
But I do hold to the point that gun confiscation is never going to happen and has no chance in the USA..

But it (confiscation) doesn't have to happen. democrats and liberals are sly and cunning and need to be carefully monitored. They don't need to confiscate guns - they can be rendered useless by legislative fiat.
