Kamala Harris is supposed to be dealing with the border crisis.
But because everyone in the Biden administration appears to be unqualified on the border, she is making one mistake after another.
Instead of just securing the border (and sending migrants home), she seems to be trying to bribe nations to prevent their people from leaving.
It was recently announced she is sending hundreds of millions of dollars to foreign nations to help with their own borders.

Some people turn off the faucet in the kitchen, as jflorio suggests.
Some shut off the valve at street level or the city can close your account. Then water doesn't even get into your house at all.
That is one of the angles the Biden Administratiom is working on. By improving the devastation (some of which the US helped create) in the countries from which all those "unwashed hoards of human debris" originate. Thus providing a relative monetary saving when they no longer show up at the border and saving the "unwashed" the trouble and expense of travel through Mexico.
