I never asked you to agree with me Emily. Nor do I expect you to. But there's no reason to get offended because someone else is able to point out flaws and omissions in some of your claims.

In professional, political and academic environments, "arguing" and "discussion" are essentially the same thing. The term "arguing" only takes on a more volatile meaning for people who get frustrated or are unwilling to consider the points being made by others. "He keeps arguing with me!"

So yes, I DO get it... You're okay with people having a different opinion but if anyone presents a rational argument that puts your opinion in question, you dismiss it as belligerence. Honestly, your semantics don't fool me.

If this was just you and me, I would have let it go, but it's not. It's a political forum which makes it a little bigger than just you and me. I'm sure lots of people on both sides have experienced similar frustration, so I feel it's worth presenting an alternative to insulting each other. Indeed, the adult thing to do here is to agree to disagree, which I have always been perfectly willing to do.

First of all, how does not spending a day in a hospital bed make any difference? Secondly, how do you know what God thinks? And the answer to your question is very simple... if you don't have the v***s (which you don't really know) you can STILL get the v***s from someone else and then pass it along and if you're refusing to wear a mask because "government can't tell you what to do", it increases the odds of t***smission.

I did some work for P****r in 2018 for their forensics and security division (forensics in this case being, the investigation of stolen intellectual property). I remember m**A research was already in full swing as a potential solution to potential SARS p******cs even then.

I also remember at the same time, the Obama administration talking about potential outbreaks and planning for it. Trump actually dismantled a lot of that effort because he thought it was a waste of money and when the v***l outbreak happened, he was trying to tell us it was a Chinese h**x.
