The Boston bombings, the Fort Hood shootings, the events of 9/11, and numerous international Islamic terrorist activities are only new to people who have no sense of history.

Most Americans are familiar with the first line of the United States Marine Corps hymn, “From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli” but most likely don’t know the source of the “Tripoli” reference. The line “to the shores of Tripoli” refers to the First Barbary War, specifically the Battle of Derna, that took place in 1805.

Yes! Even Our earliest founders were familiar with the terrorist ways of radical Islamists. Thomas Jefferson, who was serving as the ambassador to France, and John Adams, the Ambassador to Britain, met in London with Ambassador Abdrahaman, the Dey of Tripoli’s ambassador to Britain, in an attempt to negotiate a peace treaty. Peace for an Islamist means surrender to Islam.

Jefferson and Adams tried to argue that America was not at war with Tripoli. In what way had the U.S provoked the Muslims, they asked? Ambassador Abdrahaman went on to explain “the finer points of Islamic jihad” to the Koranically challenged Jefferson and Adams. In a letter to John Jay, Jefferson wrote the following:

“The Ambassador answered us that it was founded on the Laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make s***es of all they could take as Prisoners, and that every Musselman [Muslim] who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise.”

Now understand that if you mention the word "Holy War" with liberals around they will respond the same way as if you had mentioned McArthy's expose of C*******t.

Therefore; the question is. Are the liberals just ignorant to the point of stupidity or are they trying to destroy all we stand for?

Indeed, I often wonder what the hell is wrong with people who think they can win over the hearts and minds of their enemies with brutal violence perpetrated against them. You and the terrorists have a lot more in common than you realize. For one thing, all you know is violence. For another, your cowardly, sniveling inner self is so terrified at the prospect of not having power over others that you would gladly destroy the entire planet if you don't GET that power. Lying all the while about how this is for the best.
Tell me, how are you going to stop terrorism by doing exactly what the terrorists WANT you to do? Through the magic power of your ideology? You can't win a war by being dumber than your enemies. Try to bear that in mind.

Also, there's the socialism aspect of what you propose. Why should MY tax dollars be spent to bat hornet nests and invite more retaliation? Because you're too stupid to even TRY to find another solution? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we have to just lay down and die, (Because you obviously think only in polarized extremes, and are therefore incapable of visualizing any other scenarios.) but even YOU must realize that doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results isn't exactly the sort of thing sane people do. Of course, you probably have some excuses to throw out now, about how the evil libs ruined all your efforts to heroically save us, because they're so jealous of how cool and awesome you are. This is without a doubt the best, most sensible post I have seen on this thread or anywhere else today. Hang in there because you have aroused a veritable hornets nest of progs. The best part of it is that they don't say one word to refute why you said in this post. Of course, they aren't really very smart in that they think that trying to aid the Islamists to conquer the US will put them in the same place we are in. They don't really want any of us around when they take over and most of us understand what methods of death they will choose. That would be relief of our bodies for our heads.

How many of them have said word one about Jefferson's letter? I wonder if any of them have read it.
