So, everyone holding a concealed carry permit is according to you a bad guy.
After passing a Federally mandated rigorous background check?
Five states prohibit people from openly carrying handguns in public.
California
District of Columbia
Florida
Illinois
New York
South Carolina
The following states otherwise restrict openly carrying handguns in public:
Alabama
Missouri
North Dakota
Pennsylvania
Virginia
Washington
Other states are licensed open carry states. This means that a permit is required to carry a handgun openly. In Massachusetts, Minnesota, and New Jersey, it is prohibited to openly carry long guns. States with these laws include:
American Samoa
Connecticut
Georgia
Guam
Hawaii
Indiana
Iowa (for carrying in city limits)
Maryland
Massachusetts
Minnesota
New Jersey
Oklahoma
Rhode Island
Tennessee
Texas
Utah

Just following the presented logic out to it's logical conclusion. I do NOT want men to choose for women. But neither do I want women to have this abominable choice available to them. If that makes me a Neanderthal, so be it. I will happily be a deplorable one.

There you go. You are a big boy!

Keep your business out of women's business.

I agree. That is a totally ridiculous argument. Whoever made it was either ignorant, stupid, or pulling your leg. Texas is an open carry state, and I am licensed to do so. But I do not. I do not ever recall seeing one open carried by anyone not a LEO. Don't mistake my point....I am not saying people don't do it.....I'm sure they do. I just have not seen it.
The one rationale for open carry, and the only one needed, is the Second Amendment. I do not NEED a reason to carry a weapon, open OR concealed. It is my right. And neither you nor the legal authorities can deny me that right without a valid reason. Dashy disapproving, or making him (or anyone else) nervous is not a valid reason. However, since open carry DOES make some people anxious, out of common courtesy, I chose concealed carry. Also, if I ever get into a dangerous situation, I prefer the bad guys not to know I am armed.

Sorry. Can not and will not comply when a baby is concerned. If you see a desperate Mom pushing a baby carriage into traffic, do you mind your own business?

You and the bad guys have the same protections. I cannot tell who is likely to shoot me.

The bad guys will be the ones trying to hurt you. Me, or someone like me, will be the one trying to protect you.

If you see a d********g violent man raping a captured woman, do you cheer him on, offering your sign of approval?

You are also protected, from the good guys at least, by law.
If you walk up to me on the street, curse at me, call my wife names, spit on me, slap my child, punch me in the nose, and I draw my weapon, I have just committed legal assault with a deadly weapon. In Texas, at least, I can not legally draw my weapon, even as a warning, unless I am in danger of death or serious bodily injury, or to protect a family member or other innocent of the same. And I had BETTER be able to convince a judge and jury of that fact, if I brandish or fire my weapon.

No. In that case, as well, I do NOT mind my own business. Do you?
Why are you being so vile and insulting? Such asinine comments are beneath even you.

You can't. Anymore than you can spot a progressive or a conservative by what they are wearing. Why should you be able to? Do you honestly think the bad guys are going to open carry their weapons? Pretty unlikely. By that argument, shouldn't the good guys be required to open carry so you can know who to trust? Let's not be silly.

Sometimes safety regulations designed to protect all Americans cause a great inconvenience to most prople. Taking our shoes off before boarding a plane is an example of that. We should continue to try to stop crazy nutjobs from murdering innocent people by enforcing common sense regulations.

We agree on the goal.
Where we disagree is in what constitutes "common sense".

By the way. Your example is apples and oranges. Wearing shoes is not a Constitutionally protected freedom. The authorities also allow you to resume wearing your shoes after they are inspected. They do not restrict shoe ownership based on the fact that someone might uses shoes to smuggle in a weapon.....or attack the pilot with a stiletto(heel).
Also, I might note, it is already illegal to carry a firearm on a plane.
May I suggest a little more thought to your examples?
Also, are you going to answer my question about your being so vile and insulting on the other post? Or were you just having a bad day? If so, I hope you are feeling better.

Taking shoes off is a great inconvenience?
Why, do you have to call mommy?
