All of you Leftwingers say we on the right will not debate you on facts. Well I bent over backwards to give you that chance. You failed.

If you ever become willing and ready, I am always here to give you a thorough and honest debate.

As a former special ed teacher, I don't believe that people with an IQ score of 60 wouldn't fully understand what you are talking about. Be that as it may, I am a gun owner. I keep it for self protection. I am not a gun nut person. Nobody is going to take away your gun. The second amendment protects that right, but other western nations don't recognize that right. Personally, I have no problem with the govt. doing away with citizen ownership of military assault weapons like the AR 15. Nobody needs this kind of weapon for self-defense. A shot gun or pistol is all anybody needs for that purpose. This kind of semi automatic, with a high round capacity magazine has been used in multiple shootings and other murders. I believe that my grandchildren have the right to grow up without fear of this kind of crazy. I am certainly against bringing firearms to peaceful protests. We all saw what happened to the Capitol when Trumps merry band of t*****rs and s******nists tried to o*******w the US government by invading the capitol with blood in their eye. Not good. I'm not a fan of open carry in any large city.

When it comes to gun control, there is no middle ground. I have been called a "gun nut" because I carry a 380 semi auto pistol for which I have a concealed carry permit. I have also been called a "gun grabber", because like you, I see no need for a private citizen to own an arsenal of military grade hardware

Just what is military grade hardware in your opinion? I also carry a 380 semi auto. Sometimes I carry a double barrel.38 derringer. I have a gun collection, so why should I be looked at as a possible criminal because I own a couple AR-15’s?

If the law allows such ownership, then you are not a criminal. I do feel the line should be drawn somewhere as to what private citizens may own. Just not sure where to draw it

There is a man that has a collection of working Civil-War era pistols and rifles. His family has kept them for more than one-hundred and fifty years. There are four-hundred million guns in private hands today. If the "government" were to start gun confiscation today, it would take them three-hundred years to find the ones that exist TODAY, not allowing for black-market and home-made firearms. And, if the current administration is any indication of where our Beloved America is headed, they will be begging us to come forward to help defend wh**ever is left after they've screwed it up. Let them start with the gangs, to get a feel for it...

No problem with this collector. Imagine doing a drive by shooting with a Maynard Carbine

Who says it doesn't work? It's never been tried to be able to say that.

Where was it ever said it was acceptable and not stop it, never said that either.

According to that comment I can say the same of the right, which is what you're always saying, correct...

Its not sacred to either.

Just my humble opinion but if one can afford to own an aircraft carrier, one's second amendment rights should allow him to have one. And I've never owned a gun and probably never will.

Pretty hard to conceal if you are thinking of shooting up a school or house of worship

“That doesn’t mean to end their life”...When referring to defending ones self/family/others from an armed assailant, it certainly is a likely outcome. From your comment, may I assume you have never been in that situation?

I do indeed have the right to k**l - if necessary. Would you take away that right?

If you have the right to k**l, does that make you a Natural man?

No I haven't, and if I were protecting my family I may, if wounding didn't stop them, but also in my opinion which is also shared by others I am for keeping guns if you wish, while I also believe improved laws are necessary today.

The line is already drawn to include radiological, chemical, biological or nuclear. Ownership of most other weapons are legal on a federal level though not so in many states. Automatic weapons, tanks, grenades, flame throwers etc are all legal in some or most states. Ownership is not the issue. If and how the weapon is used or not used is the issue. The majority of weapons laws are designed to limit or restrict accessibility of weapons or make them too expensive to own rather than outlawing them, which, so far, would be unconstitutional.
