Sheila Jackson Lee Introduces Federal Bill to Register All Guns and Ammo in the U.S.

The Democrats are going all out for gun control now that Joe Biden has claimed the presidency. Look no further than H.R. 127, filed by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX). If you ever follow her you know she has an IQ of 60 or so.

This bill, according to its text, would:

“…provide for the licensing of firearm and ammunition possession and the registration of firearms, and to prohibit the possession of certain ammunition.”

If this bill becomes law, you, as a law-abiding American citizen, will be required, within three months of the bill becoming law, to report to the ATF…

"the make, model, and serial number of the firearm, the identity of the owner of the firearm, the date the firearm was acquired by the owner, and where the firearm is or will be stored; and
“(B) a notice specifying the identity of any person to whom, and any period of time during which, the firearm will be loaned [sic] to the person."

That’s not all.

There will be a database of all firearms registers “accessible to all members of the public, all Federal, State, and local law enforcement authorities, all branches of the United States Armed Forces, and all State and local governments, as defined by the Bureau.”

What could go wrong!

But wait, there’s more:

You’ll have to get a license to possess a gun and ammo, but you’ll only be granted one if you’ve undergone a background check, a psychological evaluation, complete a training course, and have an insurance policy covering your possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Under this proposed law, it’s up to the government to determine whether you’re mentally stable enough to possess a gun. And you should see the list of guns this woman, who I bet couldn’t tell a pistol from a rifle, considers a “military-style weapon”:

(i) Norinco, Mitchell, and Poly Technologies Avtomat Kalashnikovs (all models);
“(ii) Action Arms Israeli Military Industries UZI and Galil;
“(iii) Beretta Ar70 (SC–70);
“(iv) Colt AR–15;
“(v) Fabrique National FN/FAL, FN/LAR, and FNC;
“(vi) SWD M–10, M–11, M–11/9, and M–12;
“(vii) Steyr AUG;
“(viii) INTRATEC TEC–9, TEC–DC9 and TEC–22; and
“(ix) revolving cylinder shotguns, such as (or similar to) the Street Sweeper and Striker 12;

There’s also a long list of outlawed ammo under this bill. I’d love to present Jackson Lee with all the types she’d like to ban, and types she deems OK, and see if she could tell the difference.

Check out this insane bill for yourself. H.R. 127

So, why not try to make a law..to register every Democrat? Now I would like to know where they are all the time!

There is a man that has a collection of working Civil-War era pistols and rifles. His family has kept them for more than one-hundred and fifty years. There are four-hundred million guns in private hands today. If the "government" were to start gun confiscation today, it would take them three-hundred years to find the ones that exist TODAY, not allowing for black-market and home-made firearms. And, if the current administration is any indication of where our Beloved America is headed, they will be begging us to come forward to help defend wh**ever is left after they've screwed it up. Let them start with the gangs, to get a feel for it...

As a former special ed teacher, I don't believe that people with an IQ score of 60 wouldn't fully understand what you are talking about. Be that as it may, I am a gun owner. I keep it for self protection. I am not a gun nut person. Nobody is going to take away your gun. The second amendment protects that right, but other western nations don't recognize that right. Personally, I have no problem with the govt. doing away with citizen ownership of military assault weapons like the AR 15. Nobody needs this kind of weapon for self-defense. A shot gun or pistol is all anybody needs for that purpose. This kind of semi automatic, with a high round capacity magazine has been used in multiple shootings and other murders. I believe that my grandchildren have the right to grow up without fear of this kind of crazy. I am certainly against bringing firearms to peaceful protests. We all saw what happened to the Capitol when Trumps merry band of t*****rs and s******nists tried to o*******w the US government by invading the capitol with blood in their eye. Not good. I'm not a fan of open carry in any large city.

See Salty, this right here is why people like me shake our heads at people like you.

You want to do away with my AR-15, but my Ruger Mini-14 is ok to have.
Why? Because it LOOKS different.

At least Peter S had the balls to say that he wants all semi auto firearms banned. Which, technically, would include double action revolvers.

Their argument is just stupid Arch because they do not understand firearms. A.45 packs a bigger wallop than an AR-15 and a 12 gauge shotgun can do a lot of damage. I love these self righteous pukes who says you don't need something. I guess I'' get more proficient with my compound bow and crossbow.

Your grandchildren will never grow up without fear because this world is getting crazier and more tyrannical every day. You do not get to define what weapon one needs for self defense and what about I want it because the Constitution says I can. Homicides with any type rifle are around 3.2%. Looks like your grandkids need to be scared of pistols. Were there any gun possession arrests at the capital? If there were I missed it. If that was an attempted o*******w drama queen it was poorly thought out. No weapons to speak of, no military backers, and no plan. I don't know if you are simply a liar or just simple. Tracked? So what? Who's going to track it and how? Will criminals register their guns or ammo? This drives me nuts. It is not legal gun-owners committing crimes. Who defines reasonable? You. A few years ago when I was vacationing in Jamaica (mon) a British couple told me that they were having more homicides in London by knife than N.Y. was by gun. I looked it up. They were correct.

I'm a lot more protected than I would be without one. It's called having a fighting chance. Let's say I have a bunch of guns. All but one locked up in my gun safe. What business is it of the governments that I have guns in a gun safe. Never having been arrested for anything and I am a tax payer. I honestly believe you could see society collapse because of a myriad of problems. I was at a conference once with a guy from New Orleans. He was anti-gun until Katrina. He and his 12 year old son were stuck on their roof for days with little food and water. A boat full of thugs approached and demanded the little bit of food they had left. He said he had an old shotgun his dad left him, pointed it at them and told them to go on their way and they did. Even admitted he didn't know if the gun was loaded. How would that have ended if he'd only pointed his finger.

If you see a gun k*****g people, you better trap it. It will bring $millions @ auction. If you believe guns k**l people why do we have people in prison for shooting people, k*****g them w/ blunt instruments, knives, cars?

Shouldn't we just lock up the object & offer rehabilitative care for those poor people entrapped by these evil tools.

If you have any guns you think may be thinking about k*****g people, you should donate them to MS13 or a****a. Both have drop off sites in every major city. They have sk**led personnel like woody who can counsel these vicious k**lers & turn them into fine, upstanding, gang members.
