Well ST, you and I read vastly different books.

And there you go again with the threats - - it wouldn't surprise me in the least to discover that you were at the I**********n on Capitol Hill - - it sounds like just your speed.

If you videotaped yourself like so many of the other dummkopfs, the arresting officers will be at YOUR door pretty soon...

That isn't likely - - just as you sound as if you followed tRump around like you had a ring in your nose, the SS and the N**is could have been able to count on you as you extolled the "freedom" they offerred and proudly thought of yourself as a patriot.

You're too quick for "fight and die". That should be a much longer step from "Think what you like, you're wrong and we're right".

I had a friend who was a die-hard Trump supporter. He posted a picture of himself with some Trump paraphernalia, maybe a MAGA hat on, and he said he would die for our president (which was Trump at that time).

He was a very hospitable friend, and had a nice home and a very respectable job, which he had worked hard for. He was a very accomplished and capable person.

When I visited him, he said that he liked to watch TV with his gun handy, so that when he would see people on the TV wearing a head scarf he could pretend to shoot them. I did not like that at all (I've had at least one friend who was Muslim and covered her head as so many of them do); but I did not say anything about it (though I probably should have); I hoped to be a good guest.

He died of C****-**. I speculate that, being a Trump supporter, he may have shared Trump's disdain for "masks" or other precautions about C****-**. So I think maybe he really did die for Trump, that is, die because of his unthinking support for Trump which led to his ignorance about C****-**. That's just me speculating though; he might have caught C****-** for some other reason even if he was sensible about it.

I'm pretty sure he would have had more sense than to actually murder Nancy Pelosi or hang Mike Pence, but I suppose he might have been proud to help contribute to the general mayhem at the Capitol building if he could have been there on J*** 6. I bet he would have brought his gun along, but maybe unloaded. Enough to cause traumatic experiences, but not to cause death by _his_ bullet.

I wouldn't say any of this to his family, who, so far as I know, are decent and peaceful people.

In my opinion, his excessive allegiance to Trump was unnecessary and harmful to himself. In most other ways he was a fine person.

At least your friend got to live to a nice age. You can't say that about any of the babies Slo Joe Bribem wants to murder in the womb. Now that is what I call harmful, most harmful.

Like so many others of your ilk, you see "OUR" (NOT just YOUR) Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Federalist Papers, etc etc, as 240-year-old manifestos.

So sorry for you and yours, but my kind just don't see it that way - - we think that the Founding FATHERS set those up to be living documents - - subject to changing times. AND they built those mechanisms of change into the documents which, for some reason, you choose to ignore.

That's why many of us call ourselves Progressives, and conversely think of all of you as Regressive - - and when you spout that kind of ancient, backward bull pucky, it continues to be really difficult to view you any other way.

And speaking of cliffs - - we think it's your kind and the people you v**e for who are pushing our country over the cliff (and that's "US" trying to pull it back)...

So first of all JohnCo, in re-reading your comment, you don't mention your friend's age - - and yet our pal "larry" makes an assimption and believes that he "got to live to a nice age". This is the problem the right-wing often has with comprehension, even doctors it seems: one of their favorite exercise is jumping to conclusions !!!

I'm sorry for your friend dying from c***d, JohnCo, but this is my speculation. "IF" your friend had shown up at trumple's Capitol Hill i**********n, and "IF" he had taken his gun, it likely would have been loaded. The majority of gun enthusiasts believe that you don't point a gun at someone unless you have the ability to use it - - and they'd call that self-defense.

Snot my prez, we have already progressed beyond your regressive post. You are already outdated with your worn out comments. Get with the new progressive ideology that shows if we want our country to progress we have to go back to our founding documents and their original intent. That will pull us back from the precipice of destruction where the left is leading us. Quit trying to shove us further off the cliff that Biden and the corrupt dem marxist party has continued to shove us further into by pushing the C*******t ideology which has never worked and most Americans do not want. C*******m is a regressive ideology.
