Unintended Consequences

Carlson shared a clip of former CIA director John Brennan speaking about domestic terrorism on MSNBC. Brennan was explaining that when hunting al-Qaeda, it was often looking for individuals numbering in the "single digits" and that many people who might be willing to commit violence in America are far more prevalent and are already equipped with the weapons to do so. Here's how Carlson interpreted Brennan's comment:

"John Brennan, the former CIA director, has isolated the real problem. The real problem is you. According to Brennan, anyone who disagrees with, say, Susan Rice is worse than Osama bin Laden and more dangerous," Carlson said. "These people, meaning you, have the weapons, these terrorists — and by terrorists Brennan means tens of millions of Americans who have a firearm at home and didn't v**e for Joe Biden — they're the threat, and we need to hunt them as we hunted al-Qaeda. You just saw the clip! That's what he said!"

That is twisting the t***h. This is what keeps us divided.

You have to weed out Carlson's sarcasm and the irony he employs. As stated on air, Carlson is correct and accurate although hyperbolic.

What Brennan doesn't realize is, we are millions and he can never tell which one of us is really what he defines as a terrorist. And as we are millions of in fact patriots, we know who the real terrorists are. He is in the top ten most wanted. And the cross hairs are tattooed on his back for ever more.

So, remember, he might be able to muster a hundred guns to come after us. Maybe a thousand. With a hundred million targets. We can muster a hundred million guns and we aren't even going to be aiming at those thousand. They are just hired guns. He may have a hundred loyalists. That is a million to one.

So, Brennan, bring it on. You will find true Americans are a formidible force, willing to fight for and defend our freedom from all enemies, foreign (China, Iran) and domestic (Brennan and his cabel, a****a, B*M, C*******ts, etc.)

And we aren't worried about the Police or Military. We will go after them as legally as possible, and as long as we never actually attack the Police and Military, like A****a and B*M thugs, and fight our battles as legally as possible and only resort to violence as a last resort, and never directed at them, even if they are guarding these real i**********nists, they will see the difference, and ultimately join us, for America and their own families.

Why do we need someone to interpret stuff spoken in our own language? I never watch State of the Union addresses, because it starts with talking heads speculating on what might be said, followed by the president actually speaking, ending with the same talking heads telling viewers what they just heard, along with plenty of reading between the lines. One of these events sparks a weeks long barrage of folks, claiming some sort of "expertise", interpreting and re-interpreting the same speech.

People who refuse ( or don't know how ) to do their own thinking are the scourge of the country.

Have not kept up on EMP but as I remember only shielded machinery will work after an attack. Years ago I learned that few machines are shielded. At that time only one of the Presidents planes was. Much has probably changed but unless costs are much lower I don’t expect that many land vehicles are shielded. Therefore an EMP attack would leave the invaders just as stranded as the defenders. I wonder how an invading force would then be able to move across a country to secure it. I forget how long the effects of the bomb last but they do eventually disappear so the invading force and the defending forces would meet. Widespread desolation but it would be mostly of the sort we see in history texts of any war that has been fought.

It's a pulse that "fries" delicate and vulnerable electronic components, Russia's military stuck with tube based electronics for this reason. The effects of EMP don't last, they are over in a flash having done wh**ever damage they will.

The key to EMP as a weapon is to cap off air bursts over key strategic centers like the Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, hub travel locations, etc, that create as much disruption to how we live and communicate.

Far more dangerous as a reality is cyber attacks that cripple key infrastructure, China, North Korea, Russia, Iran, all have the ability to do damage to us that halts everyday life and puts tens of millions at risk.
