One wonders how those who live outside DC, yet work in the District, feel about having to explain themselves To someone holding an M-16. Welcome to the District of Totalitarianism.
As a side note, with hotels accepting no business why are troops being forced to sleep on the floors of the Capitol? With this level of totalitarianism, why not just confiscate a few hotels for the troops?

I presume you gained no benefit from the new tax laws.
Certainly businesses having lower taxes had nothing to do with the drop [lowest in 50 years] unemployment and gains made by minorities in employment, because only the rich benefited. Certainly only the rich benefited from the increase in family tax credits. Certainly 401Ks improvement benefited no one but the rich.
The fact is the rich have and always do manage to benefit. Unfortunately, for most of us, we have not the wherewithal to keep up with the IRS Code. On the other hand, it is the rich who establish charitable foundations from which many gain.
