What Do They Think Is Going to Happen: Intense Security Response Across Country to Inauguration

Just exactly what do the powers that be think is going to happen on the inauguration?

I wrote about how there is a massive presence now of the National Guard in Washington, D.C. with an estimates of up to 20,000***troops there. Now the reports have been adjusted up to as many as 30,000. There are so many, they are all over the Capitol, even sleeping in the hallways including folks brought in even from New Jersey and Puerto Rico.

As I reported, they’re armed and not just with the normal r**t response weapons. They’ve also been given authority to use lethal force. According to Stars and Stripes, Guardsmen have been approved to carry their service firearms, M4 carbines, and M9 pistols.

Is this what they call a “peaceful t***sition of power” for a man who allegedly got more v**es than anyone in history?

But they aren’t only bringing in massive numbers to D.C.

Maryland has declared a state of emergency in response. Virginia bridges into the district are shut down. The National Mall is shut down. Massive 12 foot fencing has gone up around the city and it’s basically locked down, with “checkpoints” all over the city, with police checking vehicles.

TSA says they are barring “hundreds” from flights.

Federal prisons, 120 Bureau of Prisons facilities across the country, are now on lockdown, meaning prisoners aren’t allowed out of their cells for their normal activities.

Why and what does that have to do with the inauguration?

“In light of current events occurring around the country, and out of an abundance of caution, the decision has been made to secure all institutions,” the Bureau of Prisons said in a statement.

The reason why this is happening across the country is because they have delegated their Special Operations Response Teams from prison facilities to help out with the response in D.C. and elsewhere surrounding the inauguration. So they wouldn’t be able to respond in the event of an emergency in the prisons.

Not only that, remember that crazy Democratic conspiracy that the president didn’t want Democrats to be able to get their mail in b****t in, so he was ordering the USPS to remove the mailboxes? Crazy rot, but that’s the nuttiness that they were whipped up into believing, there was never any t***h to it. But they still believe it.

However, now they are in fact removing mail boxes in a variety of locations across the country out of “security concerns” (although word is that they will come back after the inauguration). The reason? To prevent anyone from putting anything in the box that could pose a threat.

Oh, and in case you thought this was crazy excessive? According to D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, don’t expect security to go back to normal anytime soon.

Washington’s Mayor Muriel Bowser suggested to reporters on Friday that, due to the storming of the Capitol by groups of “white extremists,” heightened security measures in the district could remain in effect until well after Inauguration Day.

“We are going to go back to a new normal,” Bowser said. “We certainly have to think about a new posture in the city. So while we are focused on January the 20th, we are also focused on January the 21st and every day thereafter in the nation’s capital.”

Oh, great. Sounds like “15 days to stop the spread.” When did those 15 days end?

Absolutely not. Exactly how many people stormed the Capitol building? Yes, thousands attended his “rally”, but how many actually entered the Capitol building? Some seem to think every rally attendee went to the Capitol, which is totally incorrect.

Exactly why does MD need a state of emergency? Talk about over the edge!!! Absolutely nothing occurred in MD.

Really, you see 25,000 as necessary? When B*M was burning, defacing and toppling statues there were only 2,000 troops.

Rahm Emmanuel continues to rule; never let a good crisis go to waste.

Do you remember the thousands in 2018 during the Kavanaugh hearings; Capitol and SCOTUS incursions, yet nary a word from you. Pot/kettle, goose/gander seems your mode. Then to weapons, injury to police and nary a bit of angst.

Anyone stupid enough to walk into MD from DC is probably going to be in PG County. They are better off in DC, unless it is around Kennilworth environs.

The actions on J****** 6 should be prosecuted; however, the extreme overreaction has created a third world authoritarian environment in the DMV.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky) has criticized the way the government and authorities have reacted to the events on J*** 6, noting that civil liberties of the individual can be lost “very quickly” during times of crisis.

“You know government. They either underreact or overreact. So, I think there was too little security obviously last week, and now we’re going to become a militarized zone,” Paul said in an interview with Fox News’ “Ingraham Angle.”

“And they’re checking congressmen as they come in to see if they have a sharp pencil or a sharp pen. So, it’s gotten ridiculous. And so, we’ll see what happens, and whether it’s permanent. But most people who write about civil liberties say that in times of war, or in times of stress, or in times of crisis, you lose your civil liberties very quickly.”

He also noted that once American’s civil liberties are lost, “it’s very difficult to get them back.”
