Agreed. I always said Trump is a symptom of a larger problem.

I doubt you could find a pack of quotes, or even a handful, that support your theory...
Disagree. In the aggregate, four years of incendiary comments and tweets goes a LONG way toward my theory that Trump gradually developed a false narrative that can be identified as a major cause of the i**********n. We can take that all the way back to when he lied about Obama not being born in the U.S. Also, I did already give you one quote where Trump actually suggested that people resort to violence and that he would pay for the legal cost.
Look, we both know that people were already frustrated with our government before Trump even came along. R****m, which is yet another factor, also predates Trump. Then you have the plutocracy which for decades has been neutralizing all attempts by Americans to gain control over their own destiny by engineering a false divide right through the 99%. These things were already there.
Now, Trump was never an innovator... His business experience is mostly limited to buying and selling. His experience as someone occupying the Oval Office falls into this same pattern. He took pre-existing resentments and frustrations and amplified them through an endless stream of comments and tweets.
What Trump did was leverage these frustrations to reinforce that false divide through the 99% and yes that very much makes him part of the problem.

So instead you resort to add hominem and deflection.... (I realize there was no actual ad hominem, but neither was there can straw man in my earlier challenge)...
I guess, thanks for accusing me of something while simultaneously admitting that the accusation is false. I can't say that's ever happened to me before - lol.
As for the strawman... well, no offense Canuckus but yes there WAS a strawman in your earlier argument or maybe I should say in the meme you posted. The meme implies an irony that of all the quotes the one that seems most peaceful is the one that the left is saying started the violence, making that claim the target of attack.
Since the left never said any such thing about that specific quote, the attack is focused on a non-existent target which is the very definition of what a strawman is.

America will never heal while people continue to play victim and seek to regulate blame to a single individual rather than accepting personal responsibility and holding themselves to their own stated standards...
I quite agree.
