It is the 11th, don't you sort of think Pelosi being the scheming manipulative witch she is will delay the senate getting it to where nothing can be done before the senate is controlled by dems, and Harris presides rather than McConnell? The senate is on break, McConnell has already said this thing is going nowhere before Biden is inaugurated.
Trump will get his trial alright, and no pardon will help him, in fact by the time it takes place they will have added obstruction charges listed in Mueller's report...he will "get" to respond to those. Not being president anymore he will have zero control of anything, including refusing to do what he is told to do....McConnell not calling the shots in the senate will mean a different hostile environment to say the least.
