The joke is on the democrats who believe their party will fix it.
We are ruled by the oligarchs who don’t care about parties and work to preserve their wealth.
Their wealth is derived from your money, rose. It’s not magical.
You should stop v****g for oligarchs. The money is originally yours, but, through their manipulation of the system, starting in 1980, all the money has been trickling up for 40 years.
This is why they are wealthy, not because they worked hard for it, but because they changed the laws and the flow of money from benefits you once had to straight into their pockets. Their wealth is all your money.
It now all goes up the chute.
They own 84% of all the stocks.
How many stocks do you own, rose?
3 people own the equivalent wealth of 80% of the population.
That means, rose that 80% of the population divide the last 20% of the wealth.
If this doesn’t stop we’re going to have American Boat People. Just like the Vietnamese. When they came here.
So, rose, where are you planning to go?
Because you won’t be able to live here if 3 people own everything, including your house.

Losers like AOC, who cannot understand economy, like socialism. Are you a lazy loser?
I expect billionaires to pay the same rate working people pay in taxes, that would mean make a billion dollars, pay 30% in taxes, a real 30%, not the before special interest loophole theoretical rate. There isn't a person in the country making over ten million a year that would get hurt writing a check for 30%...or more for that matter.

And everyone does suffer in Venezuela. It used to be one of the richest countries in South America, but a male AOC became its president, and the rest is history. Did I tell you I have plenthy of ammo?

I think you'd better check that rate, Woodie.

I didn't defend them now did I. I merely said the democrats won't fix it either. They are also owned by the oligarchs.

They did Not make it. They took it. And it was your money.
It’s in their garages now collecting dust.
I’ll tell you what’s totally stupid. Believing putting Biden in the Presidency will correct this. You people are so dumb. Biden’s already named the same old people that have helped make the oligarchs rich to positions of power. Yet somehow you believe they care.

Wonder where he gets his BS numbers. I have some clients that make over a million a year and pay almost 40% just in federal taxes.

That wasn’t what toppled Venezuela. It was their refusal to join the international monetary fund( opec)
That was their punishment.
They still possess one of the largest oil reserves on the planet.
But it’s gotten hard for them to sell.

Doesn’t help if you don’t know how to get it, sell it, and you chase out the companies that do. Oils getting cheaper and deep water drilling is becoming more expensive. Damn you’re dumb.

It's not O.K. for the "rich" corporations to take from someone but it's O.K. for you. got it. By the way, your choice, Biden is supported way more by the one percent than your h**ed Trump. Wonder why that is.
The economy is on a collision course. Countries are printing money all over the world, which is actually worse than borrowing. We will either have rampant inflation (which I doubt, because the FED keeps interest rates artificially low) or a devaluation of the dollar like you've never seem. There's a reason many of the wealthy are jumping into gold and crypto currency. You people b***h about the rich then turn around and give them more power through politicians. Tax cuts or tax increases do not affect them near as much as politicians allowing the wealthy to play by different rules. You just helped elect one of the biggest shills for the banking industry in history. Good luck.

Non sequitor.
What does this post have to do with the obscene numbers or what I wrote in response to another poster?
And I don't b***h about the rich....I b***h about an economic system that allows such idiocies as billionaires gaining a trillion $ during a p******c. You want to personalize it, make it about me and a billionaire. It's the system that distributes the wealth that disturbs me.
AOC is right: no one makes a billions in a year. It is taken. Politicians allowing the wealthy to play by different rules is the problem all right. And it's all legal. That's our system. We could institute a different one.

But you'll allow 650 people to take in a trillion dollars during a p******c.
And when did I say any money should be given to me....ever? You just go ahead and tilt at the windmills in your mind.

You would. Compare a Nordic country with a population of 5.3 million to a country with 330 million. Norway's high cost of living is one of the biggest downsides of living in Norway, especially for new arrivals. The price of groceries is much higher than virtually every other country. Norways taxes are about 10% more than ours in aggregate. Norway also has a VAT tax. You do know why Norway is a rich country, right? Petroleum and its products. Especially the amounts being pumped out of the North Sea. Oil and gas is by far their main resource and source of income. You and all the other whacky progressives should h**e this. So model away. Glad you are for fracking and drilling here in the states just like Trump. By the way, they are not socialist countries and their citizens actually get bent out of shape when people call them that. Means of production and industry is not owned by the government, they just tax the crap out of everything to pay for social programs. In Norways case they can afford it because one, they have a relatively small population and two, they have a hell of a lot of those horrible petro products to export.

Norway is not the only model....that's why they are called 'models'. Netherlands and Germany do not have oil and they have economies that distribute wealth more equally, tax everything to pay for social programs, and still have populations that take p***e in their work ethic. The also have much higher population density than the States.
Btw....it is you righties here in the States that call these countries socialist.

Venezuela nationalized their industries and ran out the corporations. Then they became part of the Soviet/Cuban block. Then they could not compete. It’s called survival of the fittest. They made choices and choices have consequences. Maybe you, Bernie and AOC could go down there and show them how to do it right.
