The traders now have an app that trades for them once the up and down amounts are set.
They are making 70,000 trades per second.

They sell and collect money, but pay
zero taxes.
Why?

Would you parasite? Then where do you think those accounts will go? They do pay tax on investments. If their investments crash and people lose money will you give them income. No matter how jealous you are of the rich, parasite you will never be rich by making them poor. You should have gotten an education and worked harder.

So, you were 16 in 1954.
It was a whole different world back then.
There jobs jobs jobs.
Wages were like .85 /hour
Everyone or nearly everyone was happy.
You could buy a new car for $1000.
Food clothing and shelter was the cheapest ever.
How does that pair up with a 16 year old today. Probably never go to college, bever buy a new car, never be able to afford a house of his own, no family can’t afford it.
Min wage jobs don’t pay enough to afford to work.
But, you sitting on your little tuffet have the nerve to imply a 16 year old today is just weak lame and lazy.
There are breaks out there and there are things you can do to support yourself.
But not like there once was.
The prices of things go up every year.
The wages however have not.
If today 50% of the population can’t afford to live here, what in your humble opinion is the answer.
The old “get a job!” Is a ridiculous blast from a once profitable past.
So, you were 16 in 1954. br It was a whole differ... (show quote)

You are so misinformed I hardly know where to start. A good place would be for you to take a course in economics. The only number you have about right is the hourly rate. As to cars, the least expensive car back then was a VW Beetle for about $1,600. I recall I bought a new '62 ChevyII for about $2,450 FREE of the current 8% SALES TAX which did not exist then, but I digress. The biggest cause of inflation is deficit spending by government and Democrats were primarily in charge of Congress for most of the ensuing years since. I worked 37 hrs. a week in a small grocery while in HS @ $.75 hr., now the minimum wage, if I recall correctly, in NY outside of NYC now is about to become $12.50, up from $11.80. Now I would call that a lot of inflation, over 16 times the $.75. Now about the least expensive car is a Chevy Spark at a little over $14,000 about 9 times more than the Beetle back then. But let's stay with the cheapest VW at around $18,500 about 11.5 times more and you get a lot more car. So wages have gone up many more times than the goods they chase. As a Liberal Socialist you should know that the biggest cost to government are the current social programs and deficit spending to support them leading to more inflation. The more free stuff you offer the more hands there will be to take it. That said you would be amazed at the successes of people with less than a college education even today. But if what you say is so true and freely known why drop out of school knowing you will suffer? Also ridiculous college tuition today is another whole story which government policies have encouraged. You place the blame on the wrong people.

Well put. Unfortunately you won’t make a dent with parasite. She’s just a useful fool of the left.

Back in 1961 tp 1963. the minimum wage was $.50/hr, because that is what I got during High School. Gas was also around $.20/gal. The minimum wage went up to $.75 and everything else went up, too. That is just the way it is.

You got c***ted, 1955 I got $.75 hr. in little neighborhood grocery which I thought was min. Also set pins in a bowling alley for $.10 a game at 16. Made the big bucks by also jump setting the adjoining alley during league bowling. LOL Could not raise a family on that money then either and technology k**led that job :) Earned enough to buy your own clothes and take a date out for a burger and a shake.
