Yes, it's sad. Except rock music. Kids today are STILL listening to stuff from the 60s and early 70s

I was at a Yes concert in 2002 (Shoreline Amphitheatre, Mountainview, Ca), the "Classic Yes Tour" that had the early 70s lineup, including Rick Wakeman, doing all stuff from their 70s albums, and was really surprised to see a lot of young people there. These were largely kids who hadn't even been born when albums like Fragile, Tales From Topographic Oceans or Close to the Edge were released.

I can sort of picture a teenager of today staring intently at a rotary dial phone for a couple of hours, then looking over and asking, "What is it?"

Saw them about nine times, was backstage for seven of their concerts, met 'em. They were my all time favorite group.
