I have a question and it is sincere, not trying to be rude, but what was in biden's campaigning that caused states to flip?

Was it his promises for day one; “If I’m elected president, we’re going to act, on day one we’re going to act to get C***D under control, on day one of my presidency I’ll put in action a plan that I’ve been talking about for months, masking, social distancing, testing, tracing, a plans for full and fair and free distribution of therapeutics and v*****es when we get one.”

Biden has promised clean energy executive orders, Biden has promised clean energy executive orders. And He also promises on day one to “make smart infrastructure investments to rebuild the nation and to ensure that our buildings, water, t***sportation, and energy infrastructure can withstand the impacts of c*****e c****e.”

“I’ll send a bill to Congress on day one that will create a roadmap to citizenship for the 11 million undocumented individuals already living in and strengthening the United States.” “On day one, Joe Biden will rescind the un-American Muslim travel and refugee bans and will cease the immoral family separation policy.”

Biden said he’ll issue an executive order that says “no White House staff or any member of his administration may initiate, encourage, obstruct, or otherwise improperly influence specific DOJ investigations or prosecutions for any reason” and that Biden will fire anyone who tries to do so.

The president-elect also promised an ethics plan “to ensure that every member of his administration focuses day-in and day-out on the best outcomes for the American people, and nothing else.”

A Biden-Harris administration “will protect Social Security and increase benefits for millions of seniors. From day one, we’ll work to safeguard the retirement savings and pensions that hard-working Americans have earned and deserve.”

Finally, Biden said he would “begin on day one of his Administration to address the s******c r****m that persists across our institutions today.”

Keeping these promises for day 1, what v**es sent him over the top? Immigrant (Muslim and South/Central American), elderly, or B*M? Or was it C****-**?

Keep in mind the following:

1. At the end of Oct, the results of Rasmussen Reports’ daily p**********l approval rating tracking poll found that Trump’s approval among likely black v**ers went from 25 percent on Monday to 46 percent on Friday.

2. American Muslims are more likely than the general public and the non-affiliated to report being satisfied with the direction the country is taking (37% vs. 27% and 16%, respectively). Muslim satisfaction is on par with that of other faith groups (32–42% among Jews, Catholics, Protestants, and white Evangelicals). Looking over the past five years, we find that aside from a peak of 63% in 2016 and a low in 2018 of 27%, Muslims’ satisfaction with the country has mostly held steady with 41% reporting satisfaction in 2017, compared to 37% in 2020. Within the Muslim community, white Muslims (46%) are more likely than Black Muslims (28%), and Muslim men (41%) are more likely than Muslim women (31%) to report satisfaction with the direction of the country, reflecting the racial and g****r trends of the country overall.

In 2020, 78% of eligible Muslims report being registered to v**e, a continued upward trend since 2016 (60%). In other words, the proportion of eligible Muslim v**ers who are not registered to v**e has decreased by roughly half from 39% in 2016 to 21% in 2020. Fewer “insha’Allah v**ers” (those who intend to v**e in an upcoming e******n but have not registered to do so) in 2020, where 78% are registered to v**e and 81% say they plan to v**e, a difference of only 3% between intentions and action (planning to v**e and registering).

Muslims account for 0.9% of the US population.

3. 12.6 percent of US population is 65 or older.

4. Black population remains around 13 percent, and as much as 87 percent of these folks support B*M.

5. By the end of July, about 9% of American adults had been exposed to the c****av***s.

Honestly, I think it's more science denying Trump who drove me to v**e Biden. I was more motivated to v**e against Trump than for Biden. Denying science, denying this v***s, lying profusely without any sign of remorse, lack of respect for our service members, lack of respect for our allies, lack of respect to the office of the president, lack of respect for women, lack of respect for anyone of color, lack of respect for life, and locking children in dog cages, leaving the White House in total chaos. just for starters motivated my v**e

I v**ed for Joe Biden because...
There will be no angry tweets every morning
He wont be calling journalists enemies of the people
He will be president for ALL the people
He will put competent people in his cabinet and departments,
He will base decisions on facts and science.
He wont be able to do all the things he said but he will give it his best shot.

So, for you it was personality and not policy. Do you think that is why red turned to blue?

My father told me when I was very young a thief and a liar walk in the same shoes and i've found that to be true in many cases. I don't like either and as far as I can see Trump is both. He started his term lying about the crowd size, petty things that doesn't matter. I truly believe if he'll lie about small things he'll lie about the big stuff.
Add all the things in my first post and all the things in Unintended Consequences post and this was an easy choice to me. He s**mmed millions out of working people with his Trump University and had to pay back millions. He also s**mmed millions in charity for children Hospital and Veterans and had to pay back millions for that. I scratch my head wondering how someone who cares about people or decency can cast a v**e for him, but I guess they've been s**mmed too.
PLUS: Trump was raised a rich man, he's never seen the struggles of common people and can in no way comprehend how common people think, act or need. A rich man, like Trump, will never see or do for the poor or middle class. Now the e******n is over and he will not concede so this country can move on, this proves everything I think about him to be true to me.

No they don't, to make a mistake then admit that mistake is not what I consider a lie. If you look at anyone you can find they have said or done something that some people could consider a lie. If you admit you were wrong and work to fix your mistake is one thing. Trump doubles down on his lies and NEVER admits wrong. You and I saw him on the news say he scored a 10 on his v***s work while we all know he knew in January this was a very contagious v***s and did very little to stop it. to me that's dereliction of duty. But he scores himself a 10 maybe 10 out of 1000 and he still does worst than ignore this v***s, he blocks the new administration from getting up to speed, that's just vindictive and I have no use for that.

Did you read any other part of my post.

You I might want to use the ‘quote reply’ button so everyone will know who you are responding to.

So please remind me when Obama apologized for his famous ‘you can keep your doctor’ comment. Or Biden’s "I went to law school on a full academic scholarship…[and] ended up in the top half of my class." Or Biden also maintained that he "graduated with three degrees from undergraduate school" and was the “outstanding student in the political science department.”

I guess I just missed those apologies......

Watched the video - no apology. Just what he considered to be ‘justification’

Now Biden?

I wish to speak to your third paragraph. First sentence, Biden has clean energy executive orders. Several things. First he plans to carry out and has so stated that he will rule by executive order as did Obama and followed by Trump using Obama’s lead. Bad government can never equal good government but he shows that he favors bad government. Executive Orders are the way a President can disregard the US Constitution.
I also wish to point out that clean energy isn’t exactly clean. The Ivanpaugh Solar Farm decimated the Desert Tortoise population. 90% dead. It continues its destruction with the death of small bird and other desert animals. It has also been cause of deaths of migratory waterfowl who thought the reflection of the mirrors was a lake and flew down to incinerating death. H****rs could not have k**led as many birds at one time. The Wind farms in California are causing the deaths of the large raptor and bats in their areas. They both fly into the blades. Do you even know that bats are very beneficial in their control of insects? Clean energy equals Death to nature. Of course few see that except the biologists and the maintenance crews that must remove the bodies. Oops! Sorry, no bodies at Ivanpaugh, just bones.
Is he going to move toward clean energy in the form of Nuclear? France, the leader in nuclear power plants has had one death. None of the Fukushima workers died from exposure. 573 deaths have been certified as disaster related. Chernobyl had 31 deaths at the scene. Nuclear Power has been turned into a Frankenstein monster. We can see that the monster k**led only three people and nuclear power plants are not k*****g as many as we would like people to believe. I hope his clean energy is Nuclear.

You see but you still v**e for a Rep or Dem? Cataracts maybe? There are other choices, the Dem/Rep side have marginalized them though and are afraid to allow the new ideas to be in the (debates).
