My daughter went out as my spotter one year, unfortunately I couldn't shoot the deer we found that time (two bucks fighting and I had a doe only tag). A couple years later, I took her to my spot when she got home from school. I had taken a buck there in the morning, then she got a nice doe that afternoon. One shot, through the shoulder, lung and heart. Only ran about 30 yards and dropped dead.

I bought my granddaughter (13) a .243 last year and she scored a young 3 point buck. If the sun had been shining the glint off of her braces would have blinded those on the Space Station. Mike
