PETA found out that monkeys on a leash can pick around 400 coconuts a day and are then stuffed in cages until their next shift, the outlet reported.

CrazyEdit: that's how it's done...I have No problem with it, good monkeys git three coconuts and a hut.

Yet Costco is pulling products allegedly made with forced monkey labor

The alleged use of forced monkey labor has led Costco to stop selling Thai-made coconut products.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has been tracking such animal abuse since 2019, while urging retailers to pull merchandise made from the bad actors to discourage the practice, USA Today reported.

“No kind shopper wants monkeys to be chained up and treated like coconut-picking machines,” PETA president Ingrid Newkirk said in a statement, according to the outlet.

“Costco made the right call to reject animal exploitation, and PETA is calling on holdouts like Kroger to follow suit.”

Well duty calls, I'm off to Thailand to organize the monkeys and get them union benefits. Our first demand is two 15 minute breaks and a one hour lunch per day, a five day week with two weeks vacation, four coconuts per day and maternity leave, extra coconuts if we have to climb above 30' AND free vet care. I'll negotiate the dues when I get there.

Regardless, it was debunked. It was animal rightists pushing that idea.

On the other hand, we have an area of Sacramento called "Old Sacramento". It's mostly composed of restored buildings from as far back as the mid 1850's. Among other things, carriage rides are available, but about 5 years ago, some animal rights activists tried to have the rides banned, especially in the summer. They claimed that driving horses in that kind of heat was cruel to them, yet for thousands of years, horses were a major source of t***sportation regardless of the weather. Besides, the owners of those horses don't DARE to abuse or neglect them because those horses are often their only source of livlihood. If these activists had succeeded to have that ban imposed, not only would dozens of carriage drivers have been thrown out of work, but they would've been forced to sell their beloved animals. Far from abusing them, the drivers are very affectionate with their horses and that's why the ban on carriage rides failed.

Animal rightists don’t know animals and are ignorant about animal husbandry. Their end goal is to ban all animal use and ban owning animals - even pets. They will keep pushing anti animal and anti pet legislation until they get what they want.

40 years ago we had a wilderness park near Grand Prairie TX that had an Island called 'Monkey-Island'.
Violent Monkeys were sent there to live out the rest of their nasty lives.

When one went to the observation area, the monkeys would grab their crotches and shoot ya the finger,
jump up n' down, scream at and moon all observers...reminds me of todays 'klanteefa' l*****ts

Maybe you could go to a wild life farm where they have all kinds of wild animals. Go with Don jr,and have a wild animal put right in front of you so you could shoot and k**l it,then stag you a trophy. Or maybe let Don jr.. go out with some of these southern boys on a deer hunt ,see how long he lasted, probably not to long if he starting hitting on them with his gay side. And you will say that's is bs.

First of all, I don't give a rat's patootie about your "studies". I'm talking about my own, personal studies of individual criminals. Secondly, I disagree with any ban on animal ownership. Ban animal ownership and what's going to happen to service animals and animal companions? Since they were raised among human beings, they don't have a clue about how to survive on their own. They would starve to death, catch diseases or be torn apart by predators. Talk about animal cruelty!👿👿👿
