yes, I do get SS, i like that.. I also get a small pension. I also had an IRA now cashed into an account for us old guys who no longer take chances.. how do I live?? I have described it a few times... 45 acres overlooking a large lake in northern Minnesota.. not for everyone.
If those of you who do not like the outdoors, freedom to do as you please, act as you please and visit with whom you please and never worry about a house break in.. then you would not like it.. if you live to go to the mall, you would not like it. if you do not hunt, you would not like it.. if you do not like animals, you would not like it... bears in the bird feeders would offend you i am sure.. if you do not like a large yard, extra woodland and views of water recreation, you would not like it..
But it is not you, it is me.. and for over 30 years I have lived on this ridge and still loving it.. if you would not like it. that is yours to live with.. I will not part with it..
Oh, did I say I got a bunch of money when I sold my small business.. so your concern for my living conditions is very misplaced..

Nice view. If I could afford to do it, I'd move back to the country with trees and fields so I could go deer hunting when I wanted (only in season) but stay close enough to the house in case my wife needed me. Family circumstances forced us off the ranch and into town. There are some advantages for living in town with my wife's health issues, but I do miss the solitude of being away from people.
