Hometown a few miles away, spent my youth on or around "The Quabbin".I'am not surprised you don't drink the tap water ,they were talking about replacing the pipeline when I was there and that was 40 years ago,it must be be in great shape now if it hasn't been done.It was really old back then.

I was a year old at the time you're talking about, I can't seem to find anything online about any renovations either, that's a scary thought lol.

I take it you're not in Mass. anymore ?

Ahhh I see....from the frying pan into the fire eh?

Well, as I am sure you are aware, there are many great places to fish there, seems about the only positive thing I can find.

With the crew, we have a bluefin tuna permit, so we do some of that, we also fish for stripe bass. Personally, I do fresh and saltwater, large mouth & small mouth.

Nice! I mostly go fresh water Walleye and perch, when I get down south we fish the gulf of Mexico for redfish and speckled trout.

The gulf and the Florida keys are on my bucket list. The gulf for Grouper, which I hear is like reeling in a telephone pole. And the keys to go fly fishing for Tarpon. I'll get there one of these days!!!

I've watched the walleye tourny's on TV, it looks like fun.

Yes I really enjoy walleye fishing, I go out every chance I get usually once or twice a week.

So by your post can I assume your husband is a charter captain?

First, I'm jealous that you get to go out about twice a week. I used to be able to do four, if not five, but now I have two little ones a boy and a girl, four and two. So you can see why I don't get out as often.

Second, I am not a female. It's ok, I get that a lot with my screen name being what it is. The captain is my dad, and it's because of him that I have a love for fishing and the outdoors. He raised me and my two older brothers as a single parent when my mother past away when I was eleven. I can't say enough about the man, he is the greatest.

This is him last summer with the boat he just sold, he'll be 74 in September

Have at it fisher people.

Oh wow this is pretty neat...I often tell people that I work to support my fishing and hunting. I enjoy fishing very much along with my wife, it keeps me out of trouble
Now I have to have my daughter show me how to post pictures, I'm kinda lame when it comes to technology. :-(

I enjoy fishing too but those dam fish keep grabbing my hook and waking me up

Wow 2 and 4 years old you have your hands full...I remember those days now I have five grand kids 3 boys and 2 girls ages from 13 to 4 years old...difference is now I can send them home when they get cranky.

Sorry about that when you talked about the captain I assumed you were talking about your husband. 74 from the picture he looks in very good shape, it pays to stay active. You are very fortunate to have a roll model like him in your life.
