That is an awfully open ended question, who are you talking about? The c*****l p****e and security provides protection when senators And Congress members are in Washington. In their district they rely on state and local police the same as other residents.
I researched who was paying for the security of the mayor and council in Minneapolis, Chicago and Portland, thinking that may be who is paying in each of these places that have seen police retire, call in sick, and simply refuse to answer calls-can't say I blame them, when, even if they arrest some violent people, the DA refuses to prosecute-anyway, it appears that the taxpayers are on the hook for most of this. They did not mention anyone who said they would pay for their own security after they v**ed to defund, or at least severely reduce funds for police protection.
I would not stay in a city with such boneheaded leaders-I would, I think, leave the city and the state-leave everything-take only my clothing and what money I could scrounge, get in my car and leave. It is not worth my life to try to protect my home and contents. It may seem as though the thugs have won, but when all is said and done, they do not pay taxes, and hopefully, Trump will stick to his guns in refusal to help out the cities and states that allowed, and in fact, encouraged it.
Any money going to those jurisdictions would be carefully doled out, and very carefully scrutinized, Any diversion of funds would result in absolutely, no funds for any purpose to those cities or states. By the way, people have said that when Congress authorizes payment, it MUST be paid. So how come there is still money unspent on some programs? Apparently there are still funds that were to be used to help businesses with the C***D problem, still not sent. So, I guess if Congress funds a program, it does not necessarily mean the money goes for that purpose. Wow-what a deal, huh?
I read in the paper this AM that some of the owners of businesses are now being charged with fraud, bank fraud, and wire fraud- Joshua Bellamy formerly of the Jets, I believe. And so it goes......I wonder how many real businesses did not receive the help because people like this bozo were so incredibly selfish and greedy. And the NFL tries to tell ME how to live????? Really????
