Compare that to what you have lost under trump..

Include the intangibles, like respect and opportunity for all..

It is remarkable that the instructions keep you screaming about a false socialism fear and none of you ever mention the continuing movement of wealth to the very rich and the development of an oligarchy for the country..

You fear socialism but see nothing wrong with being oppressed by the the very rich and powerful.

Your comment about "the rocket launcher in your basement" I believe is beyond stupid, and I believe you know it. I don't know anyone who has, or wants a "rocket launcher in their basement" and I believe you don't mind embellishing to make a point. Your point is well taken, you do not actually believe anyone should have a semi-automatic weapon you don't approve of, but fortunately you at least approve of "sporting rifles and revolvers for self-defense". Sorry, no one appointed you in charge of interpreting the Second Amendment for me, or anyone else.
I can see you are a passionate individual, now you know I'm also a passionate individual - passionate about my Second Amendment rights. It would be nice if you actually knew what "weapons of war" actually are. For your edification, most average citizens do not have, and can not get, a real weapon of war. The AK-47s and AR-15s available for sale to civilians are in no way "weapons of war" and anyone who would carry one of these to war is not only a fool, but a complete i***t.

Here’s an overlooked point about the 2nd Amendment.
This was in reference to Black Powder weapons only.
And it was written to into the Bill because South Carolina and Georgia threatened to cede from the Union . It was written to protect S***e Patrols.
The interpretation of today was paid for by proponents of the NRA.
The NRA is now bankrupt. And LaPierre has frittered the money away instead of bolstering the 2nd Amendment.
So, today could bring another, different interpretation.

Why would anyone carry one into the streets?
I see it as an act of terrorism. They have no reason to be on the streets.
Do they. Well maybe if you want to be shot as a terrorist!

Carry one what? Was someone talking to you and I missed it? Actually I don't think anyone asked for your input, but now that you have inserted yourself into the conversation you do know the thug who about lost his arm (he was a felon in possession of a firearm, I believe a Glock 9mm) made the statement that he "should have emptied the magazine in him", lucky he only lost a major part of his bicep and the thug who was shot dead was assaulting Rittenhouse with a skateboard. Yeah, I believe Rittenhouse will walk on these charges as self defense. Actually, I don't care how you see it, the only act of terrorism was by the B*M and A****A thugs intent on destroying private and public property. But, I suspect you totally support these thugs - hopefully they will never come to your neighborhood with their brand of terror. I agree with you, these thugs have no reason to be on the streets.

If you are a liberal who can’t stand Trump, and cannot possibly fathom why conservatives or anyone would ever v**e for him let me finally fill you in.
It’s not that we love Donald Trump so much. It’s that we can’t stand you. And we will do wh**ever it takes — even if that means electing a rude obnoxious unpredictable narcissist (your words not ours) to the office of President of the United States — because the only thing we find more dangerous to this nation than Donald Trump is you.
How is that possible you might ask? Well, you have done everything in your power to destroy our country. From tearing down the police to tearing down our history, to tearing down our borders. From systematically destroying our schools and brainwashing our kids into believing socialism is the answer to anything (despite being an unmitigated failure everywhere) while demonizing religion and faith, and glorifying a******n, violence, and thug culture.
From calling us r****ts every time we expect everyone of any skin color to follow our laws equally, to telling us that our “tolerance” of lifestyles we don’t agree with isn’t nearly enough — no we must “celebrate” any lifestyle choice or g****r option (forget science) you throw in our direction or you think it’s fine to calls us h********c or some other degrading slur you decide is okay to call us — ironically all while lecturing us on h**e speech. While you gaslight us about 52 g****rs, polyamory, grown men in dresses sharing public locker rooms with little girls, and normalize the sexualization of young children, you simultaneously ridicule us for having the audacity to wish someone a “Merry Christmas” or hang a f**g on the 4th of July, stand for the national anthem, or (horror of horrors) don a MAGA hat in public. So much for your “tolerance.” (See why we think you are just hypocrites??)
We’re also not interested in the fact that you think you can unilaterally decide that 250 years of the right-to-bear-arms against a tyrannical or ineffective government should be abolished because you can’t get the violence in the cities you manage under control. That free-speech should be tossed out the window, and that those who disagree with your opinions are fair game for public harassment or doxing, That spoiled children with nose-rings and tats who still live off their parent’s dime should be allowed to destroy cities and peoples livelihoods without repercussions. That chaos, and lawlessness, and disrespect for authority should be the norm. This is your agenda. And you wonder why we find you more dangerous than Donald Trump?
Your narrative is a constant drone of oppressor/oppressed race-baiting intended to divide the country in as many ways as you possibly can. You love to sell “victim-hood” to people of color every chance you get because it’s such an easy sell compared to actually teaching people to stand on their own two feet and take personal responsibility for their own lives and their own communities and their own futures. But you won’t do that, you will never do that, because then you will lose control over people of color. They might actually start thinking for themselves, God forbid!
This is why we will v**e for Donald Trump. Not because he is the most charming character on the block. Not because he is the most polite politician to have ever graced the oval office. Not because he is the most palatable choice, or because we love his moral character or because the man never lies, but because we are sick to death of you and all of the destructive crap you are doing to this once beautiful and relatively safe country. Your ineffective and completely dysfunctional liberal “leadership”(?) has literally destroyed our most beautiful cities, our public education system, and done its damnedest to rip faith out of people’s lives.
However bad Donald Trump may be, and he is far from perfect, every day we look at you and feel that no matter what Donald Trump says or does there is no possible way he could be any worse for our country than you people are.
We are sick to death of your stupid, destructive, ignorant, and intolerant behavior and beliefs — parading as “wokeness.” We are beyond s**k of your hypocrisy and B.S.
We are fed up with your disrespectful d******eness and constant unrelenting harping and whining and complaining (while you live in the most privileged nation in the world), while making literally zero contributions of anything positive to our society. Your entire focus is on ripping things down, never ever building anything up. Think about that as there is something fundamentally very wrong in the psychology of people who choose destruction as their primary modus operandi.
If Donald J Trump is reelected, don’t blame us, look in the mirror, and blame yourselves. Because you are the ones that are responsible for the rise of Donald Trump. You are the ones who have created this monster that you so despise. Now get back into your cry closet!

OK, I see your point and it is well taken. But as I replied to the Sergeant Major, from the stories I hear about these i***ts at the gun range and the m*****a types, don't you think at least some kind of regulation should be in place to keep these weapons out of the hands of people that are reckless in their use and could do real damage through ignorance? I'm not talking about domestic violence abusers or mental cases, that goes without saying. But the gun range morons scare me a lot. So do the hardcase m*****a types.

I absolutely see your point. But not regulating them BEFORE they do something wrong is the whole point of due process. You can not regulate someone because you are uncomfortable with what they might possibly do. If so, there would be a WHOLE lot less i***ts with drivers licenses on the roads. Background checks are supposed to weed out the worst of the potential problems. The process could possibly be improved, but can it be done without violating due process? I don't know how. One more thing, by the way. The 17 year old man with the semi auto rifle, Mr. Ritterman. My understanding is that he legally owned the weapon, that he legally carried it from his home to his place of employment, etc. In other words, he apparently did nothing illegal. Was it good judgment for him to go into that area and situation? Arguably not. But if he WAS going to go, then he absolutely did the right thing arming himself and defending himself. But that is based on what I have seen and read. All the facts are not in yet.
