Energy density is the term everyone should understand.
Wind and solar are not energy dense enough to efficiently power municipalities and the ones that rely on them still have to keep f****l f**l plants "spinning" to make up for power fluctuations. They can't just be "turned on" like flipping a light switch...or they have rolling blackouts like CA (such a joke!).
The vid is only 5 minutes but it addresses a lot in that time.

Overall, we rate the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research Right Biased based on editorial and policy positions that routinely favor a conservative perspective. We also rate them Mixed for factual reporting due to a lack of t***sparency with funding, use of poor sources, and a failed fact check.

Wh**ever all that means.
There's nothing political about reality on the ground.
Address my claims, then, if you can't answer PragerU.
I said wind and solar are not energy dense enough to take the place of f****l f**ls and I stand by it.
Normal power plants have to be kept spinning...meaning burning f****l f**ls
while relying on green power. That's just stupid, I think,
to mandate. CA has suffered rolling blackouts since 2000, at least, because of this.

I personally know several who fully power their home/biz by renewable s..
as for cities and industry.. probably not fully.. but we are very close. amazon and some internet biz are scheduled to be fully renewable in a couple of years. new facilities being built designed for full power by renewable s..
And further it is not an either or situation.. we do not need to replace 100% of f****l f**ls at one swoop.. every little bit we can reduce dependence on f****l f**ls is a large plus for our planet and our lives..

By "we," you refer to the far left, no doubt, which is hardly a reference where the dissemination of information is concerned, especially when said information proves contradictory to the propaganda upon which you folks over on the port side base your every "belief."

Lot's of off the grid folks out here but that isn't what I'm referring to.
Imagine if California cleared out that undergrowth in their forests and used it to fuel power plants, they might not have those rolling blackouts and blackouts from the smoke from wild fires where they didn't clean out the underbrush. How does that solar panel work during smoke cover from a wild fine. And what do they do with the waste when the solar panel wears out and the wind power wears out. They really do. And does the renewable power club care about all of the birds and bats k**led by solar and wind power.

As usual, this is irrefutable and the left will never get it

It's a Utopia thing. It doesn't matter how impractical, undoable or downright unattainable something may be, it's what they see as ideal and therefore
it must be.
It all comes down to that same old lack of perception of cause and effect that plagues "liberals." If we went all out with solar and wind, when they found themselves unable to power everything they needed powered, they would blame whichever political party that had told them it wouldn't work to begin with.
These "liberals" are not normal people, they seem to have some gene in common that inhibits mental maturity, ensuring that while they grow up physically, their thought processes stop growing up at the age of four or five.
It's the only explanation for "liberals" that makes any sense.

No far left exists.. we only have right wing nuts and then the rest of America.. the normal people..

The left went off the rails when Frank Marshall Davis Jr AKA Barry Soetoro became president.
That said solar panels don't work in TX because of spring and fall grapefruit sized hail...and the dang windmills break down so often the fiberglass casings and blades can't be disposed of.
In windy areas of Texas you'll see many giant broke down wind generators.
Real free energy can be built today but not patented...In fact a GM service Mgr and I built a fuel-less generator
out of an old 5000 watt Onan generator powered by an old used 10 HP 24 volt motor...This Idea is already used
in third world countries...I first thought of it 50 years ago and presented it to Westinghouse Engineering and my idea was scuttled because of legal reasons = patents

Wow! Talk about a terminal case of myopia.

No wonder your posts are all so twisted.
You actually believe that -- sort of like a totally deranged madman believes that he's normal and everyone else is insane.
Perhaps you should consider seeing someone about this...

We already have acres and acres of those wind powered things in my area of Texas and utilities are sky high.
Up north they don't work because the oil freezes in them.

I have solar panels for 30 years and still producing power. How to they were out ?
