Very good choice, I just prefer Glock. I have large hands and the model 21 is a comfortable fit. It is also easier to put after market goodies on a Glock, like Trijicon sights and a Ghost trigger. Comfort and a good trigger have a large bearing on accuracy. The M&P is probably the second most popular sidearm for law enforcement. I have shot them, never owned one. Of course, 3 years ago I was still carrying my old 1911, till I got d**gged, kicking and screaming into the 21st Century. I still like the 1911, it's just a Glock is more suitable for my purposes. Carrying an M&P would certainly not break my heart.

Yep as far as I know the 1911 is and was "Old Reliable" for many for a reason. I don't have a lot of experience with the pistol, I prefer long guns and you're right a smooth trigger pull is everything when it comes to accuracy,

My Glock 21 is nearly as accurate as the Colt Gold Cup, more accurate than either of the 2 Commanders I have owned, and more reliable than any of the three.

We all are bodyguards the difference is that we are all guarding our own bodies and not someone elses body. But in my book a body is a body so as long as I have a body and a gun I am a bodyguard end of discussion.

Yes, "they" would be a given state, but my response was how it affected NY state.

Although, states rights allow them to create some kind "solution" (as my home state did), but outright banning or preventing the sale of weapons is a no, no.

No state law can supercede the Constitution and if state courts want to set monies aside to fight the NRA-good luck, because the NRA can sue for all of the court costs as well. An outright ban of weapons is impossible unless you want to update the Constitution. That would take 7 years or more.

Nobody is going to take your guns, but judging from your comment, they probably should!

I don't understand?

...and I have grown tired of this discussion (in general)....because I believe in the Constitution, and I can own guns....and if my home state is stupid enough to do anything close to violating my rights, I've got the NRA on speed dial.

All you have tom do is look at Canada. The scenario is exactly then same other than our constitution gives them no authority to make any gun laws of any kind. Read the 10th amendment.

But doesn't all the regulations that the Government is putting in place past and present "Infringe" on our rights?

Not to mention k*****g those large stray dogs that their i***t owners allow to run loose and attack my pets and livestock and threaten me, without my neighbors having a clue. I like it, great idea. Gotta get me one.

our Constitution authorizes the federal government to handle the following objects for the Country at Large:
•Military defense, international commerce & relations;
•Control immigration & naturalization of new citizens;
•Domestically, to create a uniform commercial system: weights & measures, patents & copyrights, money based on gold & silver, bankruptcy laws, mail delivery & some road building; and
•With some of the amendments, secure certain civil rights.

Basically, that’s it. As stated in the 10th Amendment, all others powers are reserved by the States or The People.

Old; Now I'm confused. I distinctly heard Joe Biden tell everybody that the best home defense is a double barrel shotgun. And the way to use it if someone is breaking into your house to k**l you is to go out on the back porch and fire both barrels into the air...and that will scare away the k**ler.

Now, if I use this gizmo, the k**ler will not hear my gun go off and will come in and k**l me anyway...

Ya think Old Joe knows about this? He'll have a hissy... ;-)
