Clarkwv; When a government employee engages in an activity that is directed by partisan politics, then participates in evading or hiding that partisan activity, that constitutes a violation of the Hatch Act. All government employees are subject to the legal liability imposed by the Hatch Act. If they participate in an partisan political activity at the direction of their department superiors, both are equally liable. That is one of the few grounds for immediate termination of a Federal employee. Think back to the Watergate participates and what happened to them. Each severed Federal Prison sentences. If proven that our current group of federal employees are found to be in violation of the Hatch Act, they will serve prison sentences, as well.

The IRS might be testing the patience of some Republican members of Congress, but I do not think the Democrats at all.

So what are you saying? You think the IRS is playing games with the Repubs knowing the Dems will NEVER ask them any questions they can not easily answer. Pathetic

Apparently you are dealing with yet another moron who has a problem with reading comprehension and is unable to properly construct a sentence.

Here's the problem. How convienent.

"The Hatch Act of 1939, officially An Act to Prevent Pernicious Political Activities, is a United States federal law whose main provision prohibits employees in the executive branch of the federal government, except the president, vice-president, and certain designated high-level officials of that branch, from engaging in partisan political activity. "

As usual Obummer has an out.

I'm not saying that the Hatch act won't help Obama as it may well do so. All I'm asking is if does as you say or surmise that it does it should have covered Nixons ass as well. I think that what has shielded Obamas ass for so long is the fact that the senate has been controlled by the democrats as well as the fact that the republicans for the most part without testicles and have no stomach for a fight. They are to afraid of being labeled a r****t for bringing impeachment charges against the first president of color. That is the establishments fear of having the Tea Party candidates elected as well. The Tea Party would actually make them fight various battles including maybe bringing Obama up on impeachment charges.
