Every state has some i******s, even Alaska. But I say good for Missouri, their laws certainly won't make it easy for them there or encourage any more to come.

Well you know how much I h**e generalizations, so I don't have any figures, but of the immigrants I've seen, and we're primarily speaking of immigrants coming from south of the border, they are hard working individuals, raising families. Many come here because they have relatives already living in the U.S. So I doubt seriously any of these types of "laws" will have much of an effect, on the influx of immigrants, to a particular state. I don't know though. Do they have brochures, in other countries, listing states that are immigrant friendly? Like which states have laws in place, like Missouri, that require that you speak English, before you get any social services? You know like states with the most jingoistic rednecks, in them. Does the Chamber of Commerce provide i*****l i*******ts, with this information? Maybe they should have brochure stands all along the border directing these individuals an where to go. OK enough with the jokes we know you'd tell them where to go...Canada.

"I'm an AMERICAN and I want my COUNTRY back!!!"

That could possibly be the most ignorant statement ever made. "YOUR" country, how about "OUR" country? And who took "YOUR" country? Certainly not those immigrants that are here illegally. What exactly have they taken from you? Menial jobs that no American will do? Are those YOUR jobs? Maybe you're referring to the sides of the hills, that some of them live on, because they don't have homes? Are those hillsides YOUR hillsides? Oh, you must be referring to those i******s who work, pay taxes and buy or rent their own homes or apartments. Are those homes and apartments YOUR homes and apartments? Or are you referring to basic services like Medicaid, Food Stamps and housing assistance? Are those YOUR basic services? Ah, now we've hit on the heart of the matter, it's not the jobs, the hillsides or the homes or apartments, it's the MONEY. That's what your rant is all about, like YOU personally are footing the bill, not for just i*****l i*******ts, but for any other American who receives these services. Like, if the government eliminated all social programs, your miserable little life would be infinitely better, which it wouldn't. "I WANT MY COUNTRY BACK!!!" What a crock of s**t. It is every American's country, I wish the "Real Native Americans" were strong enough to kick your "immigrant" ass out of this country. And don't worry, I'd be gone too, I'm of Irish/English decent.

"Menial jobs that no American will do?" Do you really believe this? Does that suggest to you that we have a shortage of uneducated and unsk**led people? Why else would no American take these jobs?

Dave, maybe I'm missing something, but doesn't your last question contradict your point?

Bruce Kennedy; You obviously missed the point. How in the hell can our Federal Government have the expectation that all US citizens will obey our laws and give an exemption to that expectation to all i******s pouring across our border? My second point is that US Government Assistance should be reserved exclusively for US citizens only. Why should i******s be granted this assistance in the form of food stamps, WICK, Medicaid, Social Security, housing assistance, instate college tuition rates for colleges, etc? What is the justification?

Your point about menial jobs is a false f**g. With millions of our citizens out of work, what qualifies you to determine that US citizens would not jump at the chance to gain full time employment? Charity begins at home. We should take care of our own before extending this charity to i******s. Just the simple t***h. You may not agree, but frankly, I don't give a damn.

Well Rhett Butler, that is utterly ridiculous. Oh, you're right, now that I know that our federal government is allowing i*****l i*******ts into the country and providing them with social services, I just want to go out and rob a 7-11. Talk about a "false f**g", you really can't believe the BS you're spouting, can you?

I realize that with all the "home schooled" Conservatives, on the surface, you would think we have an abundance of uneducated and unsk**led individuals, from which to draw from. But here is your dilemma, while there may or may not be Americans to fill these jobs, the American born worker will not usually work for the wages the unsk**led immigrant will work for. And this flies in the face of the Conservative. The Conservatives want to eliminate the minimum wage, so these immigrant workers fit into the Conservative labor model quite nicely. While the American worker tends to demand a higher wage scale. So in answer to your question, I do believe that there are certain jobs that i*****l i*******ts currently work that the majority of American workers will not work. I also believe that there are very few, if any, American workers who possess the patience, stamina and physical abilities to work some of the jobs, immigrants are working. Put them together, back breaking work and low wages, and you've driven, most Americans, away from jobs, such as these. Of course my statement does not mean 100% of the American work force will not work these jobs, but that a majority of the American work force will not work these jobs. I certainly believe that the majority of Americans would not work some of the jobs immigrants currently hold.

What your missing is that is isn't my point that immigrants are taking jobs Americans won't. The suggestion that we need to import unsk**led people to do work here implies we have a shortage of unsk**led people - which is a joke - check any of the major cities in this country and you'll find it rare that they graduate more than half their students from high school - and many that do graduate are functionally illiterate. We have a glut of unsk**led - surely don't need to import them legally or otherwise.

Whether you want to suggest home schooled kids or the millions of public school drop outs or the graduates from public schools who are functionally illiterate - there are plenty of them - the reason they won't take those low paying jobs is they make more on welfare - being a baby daddy seems to pay well above minimum wage - and of course a elitist liberal wouldn't know about such stuff - they stay far away from such people.

U.S. Citizens did perform all those 'jobs' that the i******s now perform. After the influx of i******s came in, they underbid the Americans for those jobs by working for less money. With the advent of their arrival, wages have not only deteriorated, but have stagnated.

And if we send them all home and you want brick work done in CA you either pay fair price or don't have it done. The same for yard work you will either pay a higher price or go buy your own lawnmower. We in the Midwest have been mowing our yards for years and it really doesn't hurt that bad.

Your advertising 'ocean front' property for sale in K.C. sure sounds like a s**m to me, but then, being a far left proggie, you wouldn't think so. You probably think of it as the old Yankee entrepreneurial spirit at work.

I once employed a Japanese gardener when I lived in Orange County. In fact, many people did. With the influx of i******s, they were all driven out of the business. They had their own workshops for keeping abreast of all things to do with flowers, trees, lawns and the upkeep of same. With the i******s, all one can reasonably expect now, is that they mow and trim one's property without destroying one's fruit, shade trees, flowers, and other flora.
